ARRIVED: 10am
CHORES: cleaned cat litter and swept Hillary’s bathroom. Fed Kemper and Hillary, refilled water pitcher and coffee basket for tomorrow, washed a few dishes, made bed, emptied urinal, wiped counter tops. Swept hardwoods and LR rug. Watered plants. Made a salad for Dr. Vesper’s dinner.
BREAKFAST: cereal, hot cross bun and coffee and water
LUNCH: 1/2 ham and cheese sandwich on rye bread, grapes and water
COMMENTS: Dr. Vesper very tired this morning. At 11:40 I finally just stood in his room making conversation until he sat up. I went to get his hearing aid and he told me he didn’t need it. I told him Mossy would get us both if he didn’t use it. He chuckled and I reminded him that she takes excellent care of him even when she isn’t here. He ate breakfast and read the paper. Dr. Vesper was in the restroom almost 30 minutes before admitting he needed help getting up.
After breakfast Dr. Vesper went to the recliner for tv. He slept most of the day in the chair.
Dr. did exercises with me today. When I asked if he wanted to exercise he said yes, but kept falling asleep during the exercises? I took his o2 and pulse. They were great. The pulse was 73 and o2 was 94.
