COMMENTS:
After getting food and supplies put away and the animals fed, I got Dr. Vesper up around 10:45. He had breakfast and took his morning meds.  I gave him a shave, shower and helped him get dressed after breakfast. Lunch, exercise and day #2 of the US Open in the afternoon. An early dinner followed by more TV. I gave him his p.m. meds and he got ready for bed. I set the table with morning meds and breakfast for tomorrow.

COMMENTS: I filled food & water bowls for Hillary and Kemper and emptied the litter box. I got Dr. Vesper got up at 10:30a, he ate breakfast, took a.m. meds and read. After breakfast I gave Dr. Vesper a sponge bath and helped him get dressed. In the afternoon, he had lunch, watched the US Open, did exercise and took a short nap. Sandy came over after work to get a head start on the mowing, will finish tomorrow. After dinner, he watch TV until bedtime. I did dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, set the table for breakfast and morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

COMMENTS:  I took care of Hillary and Kemper before getting Dr. Vesper up. He had morning meds with breakfast and did his reading. He had a sponge bath and dressed after breakfast. Dr. Vesper had lunch in the afternoon, did his exercise, then took a short nap before dinner. Dr. Vesper spent the rest of the evening watching TV until bedtime. I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.

Andrew – Stopped by for a visit in the afternoon

COMMENTS: I took care of Kemper & Hillary and started chores before getting Dr. Vesper up. He was completely soaked, including the top and bottom sheets because he had rolled up in the top sheet and moved to the other side of the bed, off the pad. He got a complete sponge bath and clean/dry clothes before breakfast. He ate breakfast and took his morning meds, I did laundry and started dinner while he opened his mail, watched TV and napped. After dinner he watched TV.  I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

NOTE: Dr. Vesper was very sleepy this morning and didn’t want to get up, I finally got him up a few minutes before noon. Because he was wet, it was necessary to get him cleaned up before breakfast. He ate his cereal, but not the scone or coffee, before falling asleep. I warmed up his coffee and scone later when he woke up.

Elena – Switched cleaning day from Thursday to Tuesday because her daughter has her first surgery this Thursday with the plastic surgeon.

COMMENTS:
I took care of Hillary and Kemper and did a few chores before getting Dr. Vesper up. Washed a load of PJs and robe, which was in the washer from the weekend. He had breakfast, took his morning meds and read. He had a shave & shower and got dressed after breakfast. In the afternoon he had lunch, did exercise, relaxed and watched TV until dinner. After dinner, I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow.  Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

5:00-7:00     When I arrived, Dr. Vesper was relaxing in his recliner watching TV.  While he perused his mail, Stephanie brought me up to speed on the day’s events.  It was a quiet start to my shift which continued through the evening.  When it was dinner time, I took his order and began cooking.  He received a call from his sister, Mary, just before dinner was served.  When they were finished chatting, he came to the table and enjoyed a hearty appetite.

7:00-9:00     After dinner, Dr. Vesper returned to the living room while I cleaned the kitchen, washed the dishes, took out trash, and set out breakfast items and morning medications.  At bedtime I gave him his evening medications and waited while he performed his night time routine.  I helped him into bed, tucked him in, and said good night.

Dinner:     Salad, baked lemon-pepper tilapia, peas, wild rice, toaster corn bread round, diet cherry 7up, and ice cream (Lactaid)

COMMENTS: I arrived at 10. Done chores. Got Dr. Vesper up at 10:30. Had him do exercises after breakfast and lunch. He then rested. Changed pj bottoms, robe, depend and chair pad at 4:30.

Note: Swept up the gnats several times today. Noticed a very large swarm under bar around the area where the trash can is. I cleaned that place quite a few times.
