ARRIVED: 10am

CHORES: fed Hillary and Kemper. cleaned cat litter and swept Hillary’s bathroom, refilled water pitcher and coffee basket for tomorrow, washed a few dishes, made bed, emptied urinal, wiped counter tops. Swept hardwoods, LR rug and door mats. Windexed front glass. Made a salad for Dr. Vesper’s dinner. Got everything ready for Sunday morning.

VISITORS: Sandy, Mary Lou, Jessica and Tyler

BLOOD GLUCOSE: 190 2 units insulin

BREAKFAST: cereal, blueberry scone and coffee

LUNCH: 1/2 chicken salad sandwhich and grapes

DINNER: salad, talipia, asparagus and wild rice with diet 7up. Ice cream with a lactaid for dessert 🙂

COMMENTS: Dr Vesper up at 11 a.m. he was excited to hear that Jessica and Tyler were on their way to visit him.
He came out to the kitchen for breakfast and after breakfast I helped him take his pills. This required sometime and prompting as he has a hard time swallowing his pills.
After he took his pills and went into the living room, where he did a good job with his exercises than took an afternoon nap. I was told that Jessica was going to fix dinner. But no one had been here by 5 p.m. and dr. Vesper was getting hungry so I went ahead and made dinner for him
After dinner we went to the restroom. Dr. had an accident and I assisted him in changing.
Dr. Vesper was not happy about having to go to bed at 9 p.m. 🙁

CHORES: Swept entrance & cleaned glass doors, vacuumed, sanitized counters, made bed, laundry (PJs & towels) watered house plants, filled bird feeders & prepared meals

COMMENTS: I filled food & water bowls for Hillary and Kemper and emptied the litter box. I got Dr. Vesper up at 10:30a, he ate breakfast, took a.m. meds and read. After breakfast I gave him a nice manicure, a shave and a shower and helped him get dressed.  For once, we weren’t in a rush and I was able to spend extra time applying lotion and giving him a good foot massage. He was so relaxed afterwords, he fell asleep. In the afternoon, he had lunch, watched TV and did exercise. After dinner, he watch TV until bedtime. I did dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, set the table for breakfast and morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

COMMENTS:  I did the grocery shopping this morning. When I arrived, Elena helped me unload and put everything away before getting Dr. Vesper up. He had morning meds with breakfast and read the newspaper. He had a sponge bath and dressed after breakfast. I helped Elena do most of the cleaning in Dr. Vesper’s living area, so she would have time to clean the other side of the house before Jessica arrives on Saturday.Dr. Vesper had lunch in the afternoon, did his exercise and watched TV before dinner.  After dinner he watched an old Nicholas Sparks movie, “Message in a Bottle”. I was surprised he watched the entire movie, he usually doesn’t stay with it till the end. I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.

COMMENTS: I took care of Kemper & Hillary and started chores before getting Dr. Vesper up.  He ate breakfast and took his morning meds.  He had a sponge bath and got dressed after breakfast, and then he did his exercise. I did laundry and started dinner while he opened his mail, watched TV and napped. Jeannie was here for a few hours in the afternoon to pay bills. After dinner he watched TV.  I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

COMMENTS: I ran errands on my way in this morning, I took care of Hillary and Kemper when I arrived. I got Dr. Vesper up, he had breakfast and took his morning meds. I did chores while he relaxed.  Dr. Vesper had a shave and a shower after breakfast then relaxed until time for lunch.  We had a really good round of exercise between lunch and dinner. He watched TV while I prepared dinner.  He watched TV before and after dinner. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow.  Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: Dr. Vesper got up at 10:45a, he had his morning meds with breakfast. He got a sponge bath and dressed after breakfast. After lunch, we did exercise, then he relaxed, watched TV and napped the rest of the afternoon. After dinner, he watched TV while I cleaned up the kitchen and did dishes.  I prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.
