COMMENTS: Dr. Vesper got up at 10:30, he had his morning meds with breakfast. In the afternoon, we did exercise, watched TV and napped. I did a drug inventory and placed orders with Humana while Dr. Vesper napped. Jessica, Danny and Tyler were out most of the afternoon. After dinner Dr.Vesper watched TV, while I cleaned up the kitchen and loaded the DW. Stephanie and Charlotte came up after dinner to swim and to play with Tyler. I prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

COMMENTS:
I took care of Hillary & Kemper and did chores until Dr. Vesper woke up at 11a I tried to get him up at 10:30, but he was really into his snoring, Jennifer was able to coax him out of bed at 11. He had breakfast and took his morning meds.  I assisted him with his sponge bath and dressing. In the afternoon he had lunch, watched TV and did exercise.  Stephanie, Jennifer and Jessica went down to the cemetery to make some decisions about the headstone. In the afternoon Jennifer visited Mary Lou and later went to dinner with Stephanie.  Danny grilled some very tasty steaks, while Jessica made a couple side dishes. After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime.  I gave him his p.m. meds and he got ready for bed.  I set the table with morning meds and breakfast for tomorrow.

COMMENTS:
I went on a search for a birthday cake this morning, Stephanie wanted one from Busken Bakery, but they were sold out of cakes. I was able to get one at Servatii‘s and have his name added. I made a quick stop at Kroger‘s to pick up a few ingredients Jennifer needed for the spaghetti sauce. Jennifer had already taken care of the animals when I arrived. She got started on making her mothers spaghetti sauce recipe while I got Dr. Vesper up, he had his morning meds with breakfast. After breakfast, I gave him a shave, shower and helped him get dressed. He took a short nap before Joan arrived for a visit. We had a great birthday dinner followed by cards and gifts. He had a big day and was tired and ready for bed around 10p. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

COMMENTS:  I took care of Hillary and Kemper before getting Dr. Vesper up. He had morning meds with breakfast. While he ate I  made the potato salad, baked beans and the cherry dump cake.  As soon as he finished breakfast I gave him a shave and got him into the shower, we had just finished dressing when Mary arrived. While the two of them visited and exchanged birthdate cards and gifts, I finished chores. Jessica and Tyler picked Danny up at the airport and was back home around 2:30. Mary Lou picked Jennifer up  at the airport and they arrived here a little after 3p.  The Gephardt’s made it home from Scotland early afternoon and made it up for a little visit after dinner.  I cleared the table, loaded the DW and put away food while Jennifer visited with her dad and shared Kylie‘s graduation pictures with him. We all watched the fireworks and everyone was jetlagged and ready for bed as soon as they were over.  I made a breakfast casserole for tomorrow morning and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.

Elena – Switched cleaning day to Tuesday because of the holiday 

COMMENTS: I made a quick stop at Panera & Krogers for a few items on my way in this morning. I took care of Hillary and Kemper when I arrived. I got Dr. Vesper up, he had breakfast and took his AM meds. I helped Elena with chores so she had time to do a few extras.  Dr. Vesper had a shave and a shower after lunch then relaxed.  He did his exercise after a short nap.  Jessica and Tyler were out for a few hours in the afternoon. I washed and trimmed the green beans for Jessica while she was out to help with  her cottage him dinner. After dinner he watched TV while Jessica & I put away leftovers and did the dishes. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow. Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

Notes: Took care of the animals, got Dr. Vesper up at 10:30. He was excited to hear that Jessica and Tyler were visiting. He ate and then done his exercises. Relaxed in recliner and watched tv most of the day. I done chores then fixed dinner. He enjoyed visits with Jessica and Tyler during the day. He had calls from Jennifer and his sister Mary. Set everything out for morning. He went to bathroom and then I helped him get ready for bed. Was a pretty quiet day.

Notes: Took care of the animals, got Dr. Vesper up at 10:30. He looked like he had a rough night. He was in bed with only his depend and robe on. The rest of his clothes were either wrapped up in the sheets or on the lounge chair in the room. Had to search for them all. The sheets were tangeled on the floor, the bed pad was wadded up on Roses side of the bed, Roses pillow was in the middle of the bed. He was curled up next too it. I got his up, cleaned up and dressed. He was excited to hear that Jessica and Tyler were visiting. He ate and then done his exercises. Relaxed in recliner and watched tv most of the day. I done chores then fixed dinner. He enjoyed an evening visit with Jessica and Tyler till bedtime. He went to bathroom and then I helped him get ready for bed. Was a pretty quiet day.

Note: Please do not turn off the light switch by the door in the bedroom. It turns off everything plugged in by Dr. Vespers bed. He could not get his light on to see to use the urnial and his hearing aids did not charge. Thanks!!
