5:00-7:00 When I arrived, Dr. Vesper was relaxing in his recliner watching TV. Stephanie and I chatted about the day’s events before she left. Dr. Vesper requested an easy meal which provided me a few minutes to sit with him and watch a documentary commemorating the Who concert tragedy in Cincinnati 40 years ago. When dinner was ready, Dr. Vesper came to the table and ate well in the beginning, but was unable to finish his meal. He said he felt fine, but just not as hungry as he thought.
7:00-9:00 After dinner, Dr. Vesper returned to the living room while I cleaned the kitchen, washed the dishes, and set out breakfast items and morning medications. His sister, Mary, called and he enjoyed a nice conversation with her. At bedtime, I gave Doctor his evening medication and assisted him to the bathroom so he could perform his night time toilette. By the time he made it to bed he was extremely fatigued. I got him tucked in and said good night.
Dinner: Salad, pot roast including potatoes and carrots, peas, croissant, and diet cherry 7up. No dessert.
