BATH: Shave & shower

DENTAL HYGIENE: Brushed  AM & PM

BREAKFAST: Cereal, scone & coffee

LUNCH: Mixed fruit plate & 7-Up

DINNER: Salad, sesame ginger salmon, wild rice, peas, roll & 7up

DESSERT: None

EXERCISE: Yes

NAP: Yes

MEDS: AM meds (plus Azithromycin) with breakfast, PM Meds at bedtime, BS within normal range, no insulin required

CHORES: Filled food and water bowls for Hillary and Kemper, cleaned liter box, swept entrance, cleaned glass doors, vacuumed, sanitized counters, prepared March calendar and posted appointments, laundry (top sheet, towels, Kemper’s bed & blanket) made  bed, watered house plants, baked scones & prepared meals

VISITORS/WORKERS: None

COMMENTS:  Dr. Vesper got up at 11a, he ate breakfast and took morning meds. After breakfast I gave Dr. Vesper a shave/shower and helped him get dressed. He had lunch, watched TV, did exercise and took a long nap while I finished chores and did laundry. Dr. Vesper watched TV until bedtime. I set the table for breakfast and morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

LUNCH: Chicken salad sandwich, grapes & 7up

DINNER: Salad, ribeye steak, baked potato, asparagus & 7-Up

DESSERT: None

EXERCISE: Yes

NAP: Yes

MEDS: AM meds (plus Azithromycin) with breakfast, PM meds at bedtime, BS within the normal range- no insulin required

CHORES: grocery shopped, stored food and supplies, Laundry (sheets, pad & PJs), made bed, helped Elena with cleaning, picked up mail, prepared meals

Elena – Cleaned

Hank Harrington & A-1 Glass – Measure for new glass (attic window)

COMMENTS: I took care of Kemper and Hillary before getting Dr. Vesper up.  He had a sponge bath and dressed before breakfast.  He took his morning meds with breakfast. Once Elena arrived, she kept an eye on Dr. Vesper while he ate breakfast and I left for Krogers. We did exercise in the afternoon. He had lunch and a nap in the afternoon. He watched TV after dinner. I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds and prepared for bed.

NOTE: Hank met with the glass company here this morning to measure for the glass to replace the broken window in the attic. He also did a temporary fix for the leak around the chimney until he can get back and do a more complete job.

MEDS: AM meds (plus Azithromycin) with breakfast, PM Meds at bedtime, BS within the normal range, no insulin required

CHORES: Cleaned glass doors, swept front entrance, vacuumed, sanitized kitchen countertops, touched up bathrooms, made bed, laundry (white & colored clothes) picked up garbage can & mail, prepared meals

VISITORS/WORKERS:

Aaronco – Finished installing new coils in attic

COMMENTS: I took care of Kemper & Hillary when I arrived and started chores before getting Dr. Vesper up. He ate breakfast and took his morning meds. After breakfast, I gave him a sponge bath and helped him get dressed. We did exercise, then he took a nap while I did laundry. After dinner he watched TV.  I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

NOTE: Dr. Vesper got up very confused this morning. I called Dr. Wilson right away, turns out the culprit was Mucinex, we stopped it immediately and Dr. Wilson called in a script for Azithromycin. Dr. Vesper took the first two pills today and will have one per day through Sunday.  (Azithromycin added to Am medicine container) The confusion was gone just before dinner.

MEDS:  AM meds with breakfast, PM Meds at bedtime, BS – within the normal range – no insulin required

CHORES: Filled food & water bowls for Hillary & Kemper, emptied litter box, swept front entrance, cleaned glass doors, vacuumed, laundry (top sheet & pad) watered plants, cleaned out refrigerator, dropped off garbage cans & recycling, picked up mail, prepared meals

VISITORS/WORKERS: None

COMMENTS: I fed Hillary and Kemper, filled water bowls, emptied litter box. I got Dr. Vesper up, he ate breakfast and took his morning meds. He had a shave, shower and got dressed after breakfast. In the afternoon, he had lunch, watched TV, exercised and took a nap. After dinner he watched TV while I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow. Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

 

NOTE: Dr. Vesper’s cold was about the same, the Mucinex kept his cough under control.

CHORES:  Filled food & water bowls for Kemper & Hillary, cleaned litter box, swept front entrance, cleaned glass doors, vacuumed floors, santitized kitchen counters, touched up bathrooms, checked medication inventory and prepared meals.

VISITORS/WORKERS:  None

COMMENTS: After taking care of Kemper and Hillary, I got Dr. Vesper, he had his morning meds with breakfast. After breakfast I gave him a sponge bath and helped him get dressed.  In the afternoon, he had lunch and napped, wasn’t feeling well, cough much worse today. I called Dr. Wilson this morning and he suggested Mucinex DM first, since his only symptom was coughing. He insisted he wasn’t hungry and didn’t want any dinner, but I finally convinced him to have some soup (I added a grilled cheese). He watched TV until bedtime. I cleaned up the kitchen and did dishes.  I prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and prepared for bed.

CHORES:  Filled food & water bowls for Kemper & Hillary, cleaned litter box, swept front entrance, cleaned glass doors, vacuumed floors, santitized kitchen counters, washed top sheet and made bed, touched up bathrooms prepared February calendar and posted appointments, and prepared meals.

VISITORS/WORKERS:  Stephanie – Returned items to safe

COMMENTS: I got Dr. Vesper up, after taking care of the animals.  He had a complete sponge bath and a change of clothes before breakfast. He had his morning meds with breakfast.  He had lunch in the afternoon, then watched TV.  I cleaned up the kitchen, did dishes, prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and prepared for bed.

NOTE: Dr. Vesper got up with a cough today, no temperature and said he didn’t feel bad, but I think he is coming down with a cold.

CHORES: Filled food & water bowls, cleaned the litter box, swept front entrance, cleaned glass doors, sanitized countertops, vacuumed floors, touched up bathrooms, laundry (top sheet) remade bed and prepared meals.

VISITORS/WORKERS: Sophie – Took Kemper to the park

COMMENTS: I took care of Hillary & Kemper and did chores until Dr. Vesper was ready to get up. He had a sponge bath and fresh clothes before breakfast. He took his morning meds with breakfast. In the afternoon, he did exercise, took a nap & watched TV. Sophie came by in the afternoon, it was a beautiful day and she wanted to take Kemper to the park.  After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime. I gave him his p.m. meds and he got ready for bed.  I set the table with morning meds and breakfast for tomorrow.
