Chores: sanitized kitchen counter tops, prepared breakfast and lunch, cleaned kitchen made bed, prepared extra briefs, cleaned appliances

Comments: Upon arrival, both Dr. Vesper and Rose were still sleeping. I cleaned up breakfast from Dr. Vesper and started preparing breakfast for Rose. At 10:30 am, I assisted Rose out of bed and into the bathroom for clean up. I prepared breakfast. Rose at very well. Rose was more alert today. At 12:30 pm, I assist Rose to the bathroom. Rose only cat napped a couple of times, but she was alert most of the day. At. 2 pm, I prepared lunch. Rose again at well. Rose said multiple times “help me”. I did what I could for her. Rose took a short nap after lunch. At 4:30 pm, I assisted Rose to the bathroom. The day went well. Rose was more alert than I have seen her in a while.

 

Saturday, May 7, 2016/ 10 am- 5 pm

Breakfast: cheese and vegetable omelet, (1) toast, (2) bacon, orange juice with Miralax

Lunch: Greek Yogurt with mango, protein drink

Medications: Levothyroxine, Miralax in orange juice, (1) tums, (2) multivitamins, 2 pm medications

Nap: yes

Exercise: no

Fluid Intake: 8 oz orange juice, 8 oz protein drink, 32 oz water

Urine/BM Output: 10:30 urine and small to medium BM, 12:30 urine, 4:30 urine and small BM

Chores: sanitized counter tops, cleaned up breakfast from Dr. Vesper, prepared breakfast and lunch, cleaned up kitchen, made bed, cleaned microwave and other appliances

Visitors: Susan from Home Instead, Sandy (cutting grass)

Comments: When I arrived, Sandy was there cutting grass and Rose and Dr. Vesper were sleeping. At 10:30, I assisted Rose in the bathroom. Rose was very sleepy this morning. I prepared breakfast, and assisted Rose. She ate very little (1/2 of omelet, 1/4 toast, and no bacon). I assisted Rose to bathroom at 12:30. She woke up at little after the bathroom break so I gave her a little more of her breakfast. At 2 pm, I prepared lunch and assisted Rose. Rose ate well. She was a little more awake. But it seems she ate better because she did not have to chew. I had Rose’s feet up most of the day due to swelling in her left foot and ankle. At 4:30, I assisted Rose to bathroom. Susan arrived while Rose was in the bathroom.

Comments: Upon arrival, Dr. Vesper let me in the house as the door was locked. Dr. Vesper went outside. I cleaned up from Dr. Vesper’s breakfast and started preparing breakfast for Rose. At 10:30 am, I assisted Rose out of bed and into the bathroom for toileting, clean up, and dress. I completed Rose’s breakfast. Rose ate just about all the omelet, 1 1/2 pieces of bacon, and 1/2 toast. She was yawning a lot and falling asleep during breakfast. At 12:30 pm, I assisted Rose to the bathroom. Rose was falling asleep a lot during the day. I was having a difficult time getting Rose to drink water as she was choking on the water often. At 4:30 pm, I assisted Rose to the bathroom. Susan arrived and took over as Rose was still having a bowel movement.

Lunch: 1/4 of a 1/2 ham sandwich, Greek yogurt with mango, Kefir milk, water

Medications: Levothyroxine, Cipro, Miralax, (1) tums, (2) multivitamins, 2 pm medications

Exercise: no

Nap: yes

Fluid Intake: 7 oz Kefir milk, 8 oz orange juice, 32 oz water

Output/BM: 10:30 am urine, 12:30 pm urine, 4:30 pm urine

Comments: Upon arrival, Kemper greeted me outside. As soon as I opened the door to the house, Kemper raced in and slid into the table hard enough to move the table. Dr. Vesper was sitting at the table reading. I started breakfast for Rose. At 10:30 am, I woke Rose and assisted her out of bed and into the bathroom. I helped her dress and fixed her hair. I finished breakfast and assisted Rose with breakfast. Rose ate well. At 12:30 pm, I assisted Rose to the bathroom and Dr. Vesper went to church. I cleaned up the kitchen and prepared lunch at 2 pm. I assisted Rose with her lunch. She was very sleepy, so she did  not eat as well. Rose slept off and on all day. At 4:30 pm, I assisted Rose to the bathroom. While we were in the bathroom, Susan arrived. Upon attempting to clean Rose, I found she has a prolapsed intestine. I informed Dr. Vesper and called Mossy. Mossy came to help  with the prolapse. Rose said she was in pain which was understandable. Susan and I stayed with Rose until Mossy arrived. Mossy instructed us how to take care of the prolapse.

Output: 11 am urine in brief, 1:15 pm urine and very small, hard BM, 4:30 pm urine and soft, medium BM in brief

Chores: sanitized kitchen countertops, prepared breakfast and dinner, swept kitchen and bathroom, watered plants, made bed.

Comments: Upon arrival, Dr. Vesper was sitting at the table reading. Rose was in bed sleeping. Dr. Vesper went back to bed at about 10:15 am. I checked on Rose at 10:30 am. Dr. Vesper said to give her a few more minutes. At 11 am, I assisted Rose out of bed and into the bathroom. I helped her get dress and fixed her hair (I noticed a raw spot on the rim of Rose’s right ear). I prepared Rose’s breakfast. It took a while to get Rose to eat as she kept falling asleep. She would fall asleep while chewing. At 1:15 pm, I assist Rose to the bathroom. At 2 pm, I prepared lunch for Rose. Rose ate well. However, she fell asleep right after lunch. At 4:30, I assisted Rose to the bathroom. Rose slept all day. She was hanging her head today.

Comments: Upon arrival, Dr. Vesper and Rose were both sleeping. I cleaned up from Dr. Vesper’s breakfast and started Rose’s breakfast.  At 10:30 am, I assisted Rose out of bed, to the bathroom, dressed (right foot is looking much better), and brushed and fixed hair. Rose assisted me with making her breakfast. Rose ate well. At 12:30, I assisted Rose in the bathroom. At 2:00 pm, Rose assisted me with making lunch. Rose again ate well. Rose was in a good mood today. She was making funny noises and laughing about it. At 4:30, I assisted Rose in the bathroom.

Comments: Upon arrival, I started preparing breakfast. Dr. Vesper and Rose were still sleeping. At 10:30 am, I assisted Rose getting out bed, into the bathroom, helped her dress, and fixed Rose’s hair. Rose assisted me with fixing breakfast. Rose ate well. I assisted Rose to the bathroom at 12:30 pm. I propped Rose’s feet up after bathroom break due to swollen right foot. At 2:00 pm, Rose assisted me with lunch. Rose ate well. Rose was in good spirits. She was talking a little and making funny noises. After lunch, I propped Rose’s feet up again. At 4:30 pm, I assisted Rose with bathroom break. Dr. Vesper left to go to church. Rose did well.
