COMMENTS:
When I arrived Dr. vesper was on the phone with Fifth Third Bank trying to make a phone payment for a “past due” master card. Jeannie has been trying to set this account up for auto pay for past (3) months, obviously without success. Dr. Vesper authorized the payment to be taken out of his account. I’ll call our local branch tomorrow and try one more time to get the payment set up. Dr. Vesper had been in the middle of this breakfast when the fifth third call came in, he finished his breakfast before going back to bed. I got Rose up and helped Elena change the sheets while Dr. Vesper was finishing breakfast.  I gave Rose her morning meds and breakfast before her shower. We were dressed and out the door at 1p. Rose didn’t see the dentist today, only her hygienist for a cleaning, she will see the dentist in October.  Dr. Vesper was watching TV when we arrived home a little before 4p. Dinner, cleanup, evening meds and bedtime routine all ran smoothly.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a comfortable day, she ate well and took her usual afternoon nap. Dr. Vesper had been up, ate breakfast, and went back to bed. I woke him just in time to get ready for church and the gym. He was home from the gym around 3:30p, had his usual snack of coffee and protein bar. After going through his mail and reading the WSJ, he watched TV until dinner. Dinner, clean up and bedtime prep all routine.

NOTE:
Mills Fence was here this morning to install our repaired keypad, which they have had since before Thanksgiving 2016. I was informed that since Matt is no longer with Mills Fence, they don’t do IT work, I will need to call someone else to do the IT part of the installation, if I wanted the call button to call the house. I didn’t have the time or the patiences to deal with Mills Fence today, I will search for a Mills fence replacement tomorrow.

NOTE:
We had a very heavy downpour twice today, which reminded me the large window next to the red doors is still leaking. I sent a text to Hank Harrington regarding needed repairs, he responded immediately and will be here this Friday to give estimate.

COMMENTS:
Rose was very alert and responsive today, especially after dinner, she ate well,  and snoozed in the afternoon. Dr. Vesper  had been up, ate breakfast, and went back to bed. Shortly after I arrived he came out of the bedroom fully dressed. Since it was a Tuesday, I asked him where he was going, he said Kroger Pharmacy had called and he needed to pick up a prescription for Rose. I explained to him that it was a refill on his eyedrops and I had picked it up on my way in.  Eventually, I had to call Kroger pharmacy to prove to him they did not have a prescription for Rose,  once convinced, he went back to bed.  He got up around 2:30p, picked up the mail and after going through the mail he read the WSJ  and watched TV until dinner. Clean up, p.m. meds and bedtime routine all normal.

COMMENTS:
Rose relaxed after breakfast while I cleaned up the kitchen and completed a few other chores. Rose had her shower after lunch and 2 PM meds. She had a short nap before dinner. Dr. Vesper went back to bed after breakfast, but was up in time to leave for church & the gym. He was back home @ 3:15, after going through the mail and reading the WSJ, he watched TV. After dinner, they watched TV while I cleaned up the kitchen and prepared for bedtime routine. Stephanie planned to work very late tonight, so Andrew and I came up with a dinner plan. Andrew and Charlotte had to do some work at the fairgrounds to prepare for a horse show tomorrow. Kylie, Jake, Sophie and Charlotte went with Andrew and he said they would pick up pizza on their way back. Chase stayed home with grandma and grandpa. We let him pick what he wanted for dinner, which was Frisch’s. I think he enjoyed the one-on-one time with his grandparents, they had a very lively dinner conversation, ranging from politics to gender specific bathrooms. Andrew returned with the rest of the gang at 9:30. After eating their pizza, they watch TV and then played boardgames until bedtime.

NOTE TO CAREGIVERS:
Please make sure Dr. Vesper receives his eyedrops, as directed. Dr. Vesper will be attending a family birthday party 4:30-8:30, please make sure he is showered and ready.

Dr. Vesper didn’t get up for breakfast this morning got up just in time to leave with Stephanie for his appointment with Dr. khaja. Kylie said she fed Kemper and let him out just before 8a. Dr. Vesper went back to bed (without eating breakfast) when he got home from his appointment. He did finally eat breakfast and take his a.m. meds when he got up a little before 3p.
