COMMENTS:
Rose had an average day, ate well and was fairly relaxed.  She only had a short nap in the afternoon, so she was pooping out at the end of the day.  Dr. Vesper spent the day relaxing and watching TV. He did go back to bed after breakfast and slept until almost 2p. He seemed to be bored, couldn’t find anything interesting on TV, only watched a few minutes before flipping through the channels again,  I think he is relieved when dinner was ready. Dinner, cleanup and bedtime routine all normal.

COMMENTS:
Rose  relaxed after breakfast, while I did a few chores. Showering was fairly easy today, Rose was relaxed and cooperative. She had a nice nap after lunch. Rose had a good evening, but started leaning heavily to the left during bedtime routine. Dr. Vesper went back to bed after breakfast, but was up in time to leave for church & the gym. He arrived home a little after 3p, had a protein bar & coffee while going through the mail and reading the WSJ.  After dinner, they watched TV while I cleaned up the kitchen and prepared for bedtime.

COMMENTS:
Rose had an average day, ate well and was alert.  She didn’t have her usual afternoon nap.  After dinner Rose became uncomfortable and started moaning. We went to the bathroom a little early  in hopes that was the source of her discomfort, she had a very large BM and was much relieved afterwards.  Elaine said Dr. Vesper had been up, ate and was back in bed when she arrived at 9:30. He did get up around 1230  to use the bathroom, but went back to bed and slept until 2:30. Elena made their bed with fresh sheets, but didn’t have time to wash the dirty sheets because Dr. Vesper slept so late. Dr. Vesper picked up the mail, read and watch TV the rest of the afternoon. Dinner, cleanup, evening meds and bedtime routine all ran smoothly.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a comfortable day, she ate well and took her usual afternoon nap. Dr. Vesper  was just getting up when I arrived a little before 10 a. After eating breakfast and doing his morning reading he went back to bed. I woke him just in time to get ready for church and the gym. He was home from the gym around 3:30p, had his usual snack of coffee and protein bar. After going through his mail and reading the WSJ, he watched TV until dinner. Dinner, clean up and bedtime prep all routine.

NOTE:
Dr. Vesper’s car wouldn’t start this morning when I went over to get it out of the garage for church. It was the usual problem, he had left it in drive when I shut it off yesterday and the battery was completely drained.  I gave it a jumpstart and got him on his way. When he came home he  didn’t get out of the car right away and the flashers were on. I was on the phone with Humana, when I got off the phone I went to the garage to see what the problem was,  he was on his cell phone leaving a voice message for someone asking for help.  I reached across and hit the hazard button, the dinging and flashing stopped and he hung up in the middle of his message.   I so wish he still had his old Lincoln, the newer cars have too many bells and whistles for him, just can’t get the hang of keyless start.

COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper was just finishing his breakfast when I arrived, he went back to bed, but only for 1/2 hour before I got him up for church. As soon as he was out of the bathroom I got Rose up, gave her morning meds, dressed and ready for breakfast. Dr. Vesper was home @ 1p. They both had an early afternoon nap. Rose fell asleep again around 4p, I tried to wait her out since she was sleeping so well at 4:30, but finally woke her for a bathroom break. I did chores and helped Susan out by getting a nice Father’s Day dinner underway. Before leaving, Susan and I gave him a Father’s Day card and a joint gift of a beautiful orchid. Rose gave her sweetie a card and a very nice Seiko watch to replace his non-working watch. He truly did love the watch, but it was too big, I plan to take it in to have a few links removed tomorrow. Jessica and Jennifer called in the afternoon with Father’s Day wishes, Stephanie called to say she would be stopping by later this evening. I had the steaks marinating and the potatoes in the oven, Susan was nice enough to take on the extra duties of grillmaster. Since I was leaving at 5p, Susan and I worked together to plan a nice Father’s Day dinner. It’s difficult to put something special together (which requires extra work) when you come in at 5, thanks to Susan, we were able to pull it off.

COMMENTS:
Upon arrival, I put away refrigerated items only, before giving Rose her a.m.medicine and getting her up and dresses for breakfast. Dr. Vesper was eating breakfast when I arrived, after finishing breakfast he went back to bed. He got up around 2 PM, spent the rest of the afternoon reading and watching TV. Susan relieved me at 5p. Rose had a good afternoon, a fairly long nap, but was alert and focused, when not sleeping.
