I woke to whistling at 7 am, much nicer than an alarm clock! Rose slept very well last night, stayed on her back (and on her side of the bed) all night. She fell back to sleep during my many calls/texts, Home Instead and family wanting info on Dr. Vesper’s condition. Also, a call from Ann Heile’s brother, letting us know she had passed away. Rose woke up the second time at 10:15, ready to get up.

COMMENTS:
Rose was alert and responsive today, she ate well, she had a nice nap after her shower. Dr. Vesper was released from the hospital today, arriving home around 6:30 p.m. His gaite was slow but steady, he didn’t need the use of the wheelchair, but Stephanie did hold onto him from the car to the sofa. At bedtime, he pushed the wheelchair to the bathroom and the bedroom. After dessert, they watched a little TV before starting bedtime routine. After p.m. meds were given, I got Rose ready for bed and tucked in, then assisted Dr. Vesper with his usual routine. He was tucked in and sound asleep before I left.
NOTE:
Aspirin (81mg) has been removed from Dr. Vesper’s list of meds until further notice. The neurosurgeon will advise further when Dr. Vesper sees him in August.
