COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper had a 9:15 appointment with Midwest Eye Center and the Balance Center at 11a. Normally, Stephanie would have taken him, but today was moving day for Lily at school. I asked Elena to come in early to be with Rose while we were gone. I came in at 8 AM so I could get Rose up, dressed and fed. I had a really hard time getting Dr. Vesper up and out the door, his vertigo was much worse this morning, He required much more assistance than usual. We were 45 minutes late arriving to his first appointment, they worked him in, but it took much longer than usual. This meant we were about 50 minutes late for the next appointment, they were only able to see him due to a cancellation. It was almost 3p by the time we got back to NR, I decided to treat everyone to Front St Cafe’s delishous chicken salad for lunch. Elena made us a beautiful trifle, so we splurged with dessert for lunch. Elena said Rose did well, took a long nap, so she was able to get most of her work done. Since lunch was so late, we had a light dinner of leftovers and spent the evening relaxing and watching TV. PM meds and bedtime routine all normal.
NOTE TO CAREGIVERS:
Dr. Vesper’s eye drop schedule has changed, see notes on counter. Also, he has exercises to do to correct his vertigo issues, they should be done twice daily, please remind him.
