COMMENTS:

I got Rose up and dressed at 10:30, she had her am meds and breakfast. Dr. Vesper didn’t get up until 11a, had his am meds and breakfast. He watched TV, and read most of the afternoon. Rose did her usual napping in the afternoon. Dinner, PM meds and bedtime routine all normal.

NOTE:

Cincinnati Bell installers were here from 8 AM to 10:40 PM, they were trying to get the job finished, but finally decided they would have to come back tomorrow for about 4 hours. We had 2 main installers, plus they had several helpers stop by throughout the day. Evidently, it was a major job getting the lines pulled up from Green mound. It was a miserable job for them I’m sure, the attic was hot and it was raining outside so they were wet from sweat in the attic and wet from rain outside, a very long day for them. I would have cleaned up some of the mud and grass throughout the house had it not been so late, Elena will shoot me tomorrow. She’s leaving on vacation to Belize tomorrow evening, I’ll be helping her as much as I can tomorrow so she can get out on time.

COMMENTS:
They were both sleeping when I arrived, I did a few chores before getting them up for breakfast. Rose had a shower early afternoon. She had a nice nap after her showers. After lunch and pm meds, they spent the afternoon watching TV and napping. After dinner I cleaned up the kitchen and washed the dishes, set out breakfast items & morning meds for tomorrow, gave pm meds and prepared for bedtime routine.

NOTE:
Finally got the tractor and mower back late yesterday afternoon. Sandy got most of the mowing done today before the mower broke down again.  The new company that bought Cahalls out is terrible. They had the tractor and mower  for three weeks before they touched it and then another week for service, at the end of the day a wheel fell off and a hose was hanging down unattached. The invoice for the mower was over $600. They said there was nothing wrong with a tractor, just had to be serviced and put back together,That invoice was also over $600. They were supposed to call Sandy if the invoice was over $500, we didn’t hear from them until they delivered the equipment late Monday.

Sandy – Watered
Culligan – Delivered salt

COMMENTS:
I did a few quick chores before getting Rose up at 10:30, she ate breakfast and had her am meds. Dr. Vesper got up at 11a, had am meds and breakfast. After breakfast, I gave Rose a shower, she fell asleep immediately after her shower, usually I at least get her dressed before losing her to sleep. Dr. Vesper spent the afternoon watching TV, napping and reading. After dinner, they watched TV while I did the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen, set out breakfast items and morning meds for tomorrow, p.m. meds and normal bedtime routine.

NOTE:
I called Culligan yesterday because we were completely out of salt, they promised to send someone by today with a couple of bags to hold us over until our normal delivery date in August. When I complained about running out of salt too often they explained they don’t normally deliver because they’re technicians (lucky for us) they ran a few test and discovered 2.7 gallons per minute was currently running, since I was not using any water in the house, they advised me to call a plumber right away because they assumed we had a major leak somewhere. Turned out to be the soaker hoses, which had just kicked on. All outdoor water sources should have been bypassed by the water softer equipment. This means every time we add water to the pool it is going through the water softer and anytime Sandy is watering flowers/plants it is all going through the water softer. They will schedule someone to come out next week to make sure all outside water sources are bypassed. I have been complaining forever about unusual salt usage, fortunately this time, the delivery guys turned out to be technicians.

They were both stil sleeping when I arrived, I put away supplies and did a few chores before getting them up for breakfast. Rose had a shower after breakfast. She had a nice nap after her showers. NOTE:
Sandy and I met with a tree service company to get a bid for cutting down a large dead pine tree next to the driveway and remove several dead branches from another tree on riversid near the bird feeders.  He gave us a very reasonable bid and provided  necessary liability insurance and Worker’s Compensation  documentation.
