I put away food that needed to be refrigerated, and then got Rose up and dressed. Rose went back to sleep almost immediately. I didn’t prepare her breakfast until she woke up the second time at noon. She ate all of her breakfast, but it took about 45 minutes. I gave her a light lunch, in hopes she would eat a good dinner. Dr. Vesper slept until noon, had breakfast and morning meds. He spent the afternoon reading, going through the mail, watching TV and napping. Rose ate a good dinner, but again it was difficult keeping her awake and completing all of her food took 50–60 minutes. I cleaned up the kitchen and did the dishes after I gave Rose her pm meds and got her tucked into bed. Dr. Vesper watched TV while I did dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, sat out breakfast items and morning meds. He had his p.m. meds before going to bed.

Mary Lou – Sat with Dr. Vesper while I took Rose to doctor appointment, stayed for dinner

COMMENTS:
Rose had an appointment with Dr. Corl today, so I got her up a little earlier than usual. Dr. Vesper got up a few minutes later, they had a.m. meds with breakfast. Dr. Vesper was still at the table reading when I took Rose to the bathroom for a shower. They had a light lunch and Rose had her afternoon meds before we left. Mary Lou came to sit with Dr. Vesper while we were gone, we invited her to stay for dinner and she accepted. Rose had a good check up with Dr. Corl, no change in medication, next appointment in 6 months. Mary Lou helped with dinner prep and we were ready to sit down to a delicious meal at 5:30. Mary Lou helped with cleanup before going home. Rose and Dr. Vesper had a little TV time before p.m. meds and bedtime routine.
