COMMENTS:
I stayed overnight last night because we had a very early day. I got Dr. Vesper up at 6:30a, he was confused about why he was getting up while it was still dark. I explained to him that we had to be at the funeral home at 8 AM for prayer before the possession to IHM for the funeral. I rushed him through a quick bowl of cereal, a scone & coffee with his morning meds. Like yesterday, Jennifer and Tom assisted with dressing. All went well at the funeral, the cemetery would have been difficult without a few strong men. Several friends & family members came back to the house after the cemetery. After everyone left, I helped Dr. Vesper into casual clothes and he relaxed the rest of the evening. Tom and Chase had a flight home and left for the airport early evening. Everyone is snacked on lunch leftovers for dinner. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds and went to bed early.
NOTE:
We had a major plumbing issue today in the east wing bathroom (Hillary‘s suite). The clog was so bad the plumber couldn’t clear, will be back tomorrow with industrial strength equipment and a helper.
