COMMENTS:  Dr. Vesper had an early call today, his PT was scheduled for 9 AM because of scheduling issues. It was hard to get him up, I arrived at 8a, but it was almost 8:30 before I was able to get him up.  He was dressed and ready when Alex arrived, but had to postpone breakfast.  After therapy, he had morning meds with breakfast and spent a good amount of time reading. He actually had lunch at lunchtime. He watched TV in the afternoon until Teresa arrived  for OT.  Elena wasn’t able to make it today, due to road conditions, she plans to come tomorrow. After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime. I set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.

COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper was up at 11:30, ate breakfast & took morning meds. After breakfast, he had a sponge bath and got dressed. We did a full round of exercise before lunch. He opened his mail, read the WSJ, watched TV and snoozed while I did laundry and started dinner.  After dinner he watched a little TV before taking his PM meds and got ready for bed. I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

NOTE:
The back left tire on the Subaru had been losing air over the past 2-3 weeks.  When I took the garbage out yesterday, I noticed it was almost flat, I added air and asked Sandy to take it to Arnolds to have it checked. When she came over after school   today the battery was dead, lights were in “on” position.  They temporarily fixed the tire with a plug, but said the inside of the tire was damaged and should be replaced before driving any distance.

COMMENTS:  I finished all the chores before Dr. Vesper got up around 11:30, he took his a.m. meds with breakfast. After breakfast, we had to hustle to get him shaved and showered before Teresa & Alex arrived.  We had a very busy afternoon with OT and PT coming back to back.  He had a Glucerna in between because there was enough time for a decent lunch, this will probably be normal procedure on Tuesdays & Thursday’s for the next nine weeks.  It was 5 PM when Alex left, since Dr. Vesper had a lite lunch, I started dinner Immediately. After dinner he relaxed and watch TV. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow while he was watching TV.  After this program was over, he took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

I did chores and took care of Hillary & Kemper until Dr. Vesper to get up. He had morning meds with breakfast. Lunch, reading, TV and exercise in the afternoon.  Sandy went to Home Depot and restocked the salt supply, she and her kids stacked it in the garage, hopefully never to be used. He watched TV after dinner, until bedtime. I prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

COMMENTS:
It snowed overnight and Sandy was on the job early, she was almost finished before Dr. Vesper got up. He had his morning meds with breakfast and did his usual reading, with the exception of the Enquirer, no delivery today because of the snow.  In the afternoon, he did exercise, watched football and napped. More TV after dinner, while I cleaned up the kitchen and did dishes.  I prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper was still sleeping when I arrived. I carried the groceries inside and put everything away before getting him up. He had a.m. meds with breakfast.  When he finished his morning reading, we did his PT.  In the afternoon he had lunch while he watch the UC basketball game.  We managed to get in another round of PT before dinner. Stephanie and Charlotte stopped  by during dinner for a short visit.  After dinner, he watch TV until bedtime.  I gave him his p.m. meds and we followed our usual bedtime routine.

COMMENTS:  Dr. Vesper  slept in this morning until almost noon. He had his morning meds with breakfast, then a lot of time reading.  After breakfast I gave him a shave and then a shower.  He’s had a severe problem with dry skin since the beginning of cold weather, I gave his feet and legs extra attention by using a soft skin brush and  heavy duty lotion. Dr.Vesper had just finished lunch and was relaxing in his chair when Alex arrived. Alex worked him hard today, he added (6) additional exercises to his previous (3),  he also increased the reps on the basic (3).  Between PT and OT we are going to have very busy Tuesdays & Thursdays. After dinner, he watch TV until bedtime. I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.
