COMMENTS:
I did chores and put a pot roast in the crockpot for dinner while I was waiting for Dr. Vesper to wake up. Dr. Vesper was up at 11:00, ate breakfast & took morning meds. After breakfast, he had a sponge bath and got dressed. We did exercise before lunch.  I did laundry while he opened his mail, read, watched TV and napped.  After dinner he watched TV.  I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

COMMENTS:  I had most of the chores completed when Dr. Vesper got up this morning. After breakfast, morning meds and reading, I helped him get shaved, showered and dressed. Alex arrived around 2p and gave him a good workout. Alex was surprised how well he performed, extra water made a big difference. Dr. Vesper took a short nap before I assisted with his OT. After dinner he relaxed and watched TV. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow.  He watched TV and then took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

I did some of the chores and took care of Hillary & Kemper before getting Dr. Vesper up. He had morning meds with breakfast. We did physical therapy in the afternoon. After lunch, he read, napped and watched TV.He watched TV after dinner, until bedtime. I prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

Dr. Vesper was sleeping when I arrived. I did chores before getting him up. He took his a.m. meds with breakfast.  When he finished his morning reading, we did his OT & PT.   After exercise I gave him A shave and shower. In the afternoon he had lunch, watched TV and visited with Jeannie and her granddaughter. After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime.  I gave him his p.m. meds and he got ready for bed.  I set the table with morning meds and breakfast for tomorrow.

COMMENTS: I did a few chores and took care of Hillary and Kemper before getting Dr. Vesper up at 10:30. He ate breakfast, took his a.m. meds and was still reading when Alex arrived. Today was evaluation to get another 30 days approved by Humana. After therapy  he relaxed, ate lunch, watched TV & read in the afternoon. After dinner, he watch TV until bedtime. I did dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, set the table for breakfast and morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

NOTE:
Occupational therapist will no longer be coming on Tuesdays and Thursdays, she was only approved for 30 days. She left a hand written list of upper body exercises to be done daily, with caregiver assistance. Physical therapy has been approved for another 30 days,  twice weekly, caregiver to assist with physical therapy on other days.

COMMENTS: I got Dr. Vesper was up at 11a so Elena could change the sheets. He had morning meds with breakfast and did his reading. He watched TV and ate lunch before Teresa arrived.  Today was the last day for occupational therapy, she left a written list of his upper body exercises, which he is to do daily. Alex (PT) was unable to come today, but will be here tomorrow. Elena was back today for the first time since her daughters auto accident, it was good to have her back. After dinner he watched TV until bedtime. I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.

NOTE:
I was worried that today would be a difficult day for Dr. Vesper and decided not to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Elena made him his favorite  Keylime pie & chocolate covered strawberries, I’m not sure he made the connection.
