COMMENTS:   Dr. Vesper had his annual physical today. I arrived at 9:30 to get him up a little early in order to give him time to eat breakfast, shower and get dressed in time for his appointment.  He had a very good physical, Dr. Wilson said on paper he looked perfect. Dr. Wilson will copy Jennifer on report.  I gave Stephanie a more detailed report tonight when she called and will do the same with Jessica tomorrow. One medication change, stopping  Warfrin and starting Eliquis. We arrived home at 4:30, Alex pulled in at the same time for PT.  After therapy, Dr. Vesper Relaxed while I made dinner. After dinner he went through the mail and watched TV. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow.  He took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

NOTE:
Dr. Wilson wants Dr. Vesper to see a neurologist located in his building, his name is Dr. Todd Perkins. Dr. Perkins specializes in Parkinson’s disease, and Dr. Wilson would like him to see Dr. Vesper to rule out Parkinson as the cause of his irregular gait. I talked to Jennifer about the option of using Dr. Perkins over Dr. Maddox and she did not have a preference and thought Dr. Perkins was a more convenient idea since he is located in Anderson. I will call tomorrow for an appointment.

COMMENTS: I ran errands on my way in this morning. When I arrived, I got Dr. Vesper up, he had morning meds with breakfast and did his reading.  After he finished reading, I assisted him with a sponge bath and dressing. He watched TV and ate lunch before Alex arrived.  Today was testing and recertification for an additional five weeks of therapy.  Dr. Vesper took a short nap after therapy. We had severe weather in the afternoon / evening, but according to the tv weather map, it was slightly north of New Richmond, so we did not go to the basement. However, the wind was sufficient to require two separate trips to the enclosed hallway near Hillary‘s bathroom. In addition to the wind, we had very heavy rain, hail,  thunder & lightning. We also lost electricity, but thanks to the generator, we powered back up in 30 seconds. Between the two major storms, we had just enough time for dinner. After dinner and the second wave of storms, things calmed down and Dr. Vesper was able to enjoy the rest of the evening watching TV until bedtime. I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.
