COMMENTS:
I started to Kroger‘s at 8 AM, when I heard severe weather warnings on the radio for New Richmond. I made a quick change of plans and went to check on Dr. Vesper and wait out the storm there. Jeannie had made plans earlier to spend the day at Vespers to clear out old files and set up new ones. She had to delay her travel time because of the storm. I fed Hillary & Kemper when I arrived, but let Dr. Vesper sleep until the storm had past. He had am meds with breakfast. He was still eating when Jeannie arrived, I left her in charge while I made a quick trip to Kroger‘s. When I returned I stored food and supplies and did a few chores. I gave Dr. Vesper a shave, shower and got him dressed. Lunch in the afternoon followed by exercise and a short nap before Mary and Jennifer arrived shortly before 4p. I made dinner while he opened the mail, watched TV and took a short snooze. After dinner he visited with Jennifer and Stephanie and watched TV until bedtime.I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.
NOTE:
Between the time I arrived and Jeannie arrived, the predicted severe thunderstorm hit with vengeance. It brought down a big tree, this time across the driveway, making it impassable. We didn’t get the tree removed before Mary and Jennifer arrived, but shortly there after. The wind was strong enough to blow the patio furniture into the yard. Major little cleanup tomorrow!
