LUNCH: Pimento cheese sandwich, grapes, bing cherries & 7up

DINNER:  Salad, salmon patty, wild rice, asparagus & 7-Up

DESSERT: Ice cream

EXERCISE: Yes

MEDS:  AM meds with breakfast, Meds at bedtime, BS within range

CHORES:  Filled food & water bowls for Hillary & Kemper, emptied litter box, swept front entrance, cleaned glass doors, watered plants, laundry (robe & PJ), dropped off garbage can/recycling and picked up mail, prepared meals

VISITORS/WORKERS:
Elena – Switched cleaning day from Thursday to Tuesday because her daughter has her first surgery this Thursday with the plastic surgeon.

COMMENTS:
I took care of Hillary and Kemper and did a few chores before getting Dr. Vesper up. Washed a load of PJs and robe, which was in the washer from the weekend. He had breakfast, took his morning meds and read. He had a shave & shower and got dressed after breakfast. In the afternoon he had lunch, did exercise, relaxed and watched TV until dinner. After dinner, I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow.  Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

BATH: Sponge bath

DENTAL HYGIENE: Brushed  AM &PM

LUNCH: PB&J sandwich, celery & carrot sticks, glucerna

DINNER: Salad, spaghetti with Italian sausage and marinara sauce, garlic bread& 7up

DESSERT: Ice cream

EXERCISE: Yes

NAP: Yes

MEDS: AM meds with breakfast, PM Meds at bedtime, BS within normal range

CHORES: Fed and watered Hillary and Kemper, cleaned liter box, filled the bird feeders, swept entrance & cleaned glass doors, vacuumed, sanitized counters, made bed, watered house plants and outside flowers, filled bird feeders, laundry (towels, robe & PJs) & prepared meals

VISITORS/WORKERS:
Western Hills Heating & AC (Jason) – Check Geothermal systems for a leak (@ request of Rusk)

A1 Pools – Didn’t come today unless they came before 10a

COMMENTS: I fed Hillary and Kemper, filled the water bowls and emptied the litter box. I started routine chores while I waited for Western Hills to arrive. Dr. Vesper got up at 10:30a, ate breakfast, took a.m. meds and read. After breakfast I gave Dr. Vesper a shave, shower and helped him get dressed. In the afternoon, he had lunch, watched TV, did exercise and took a nap while I did a load of laundry and started dinner.  After dinner, he watch TV until bedtime. I did dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, set the table for breakfast and morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

NOTE: Western Hills  arrived  shortly after 10 AM, checked out the geothermal system and confirmed there is a serious leak in the loop system.  The technician will discuss his findings with the owner and come up with a plan of action and get back to us with repair options and cost next week.

BREAKFAST: Cereal, mixed berry scone & coffee

LUNCH: Mixed fruit plate w/ yogurt & 7up

DINNER: Salad, sweet-and-sour chicken over jasmine rice, garlic bread & 7-Up

DESSERT: Chocolate cake w/ Ice cream

EXERCISE: Yes

NAP: No

MEDS: AM meds with breakfast, PM Meds at bedtime, BS within normal range

CHORES:  Grocery shopped, stored food and supplies, took care of Kemper and Hillary, emptied litter box, did drug inventory and placed order with Humana, picked up mail, prepared meals

VISITORS/WORKERS:
Elena – Cleaned
Sandy – Picked up truck to used to transport mulch this weekend.
Mr. Lock – Repaired broken lock on glass entry door

COMMENTS:  I did the grocery shopping on my way in this morning. Elena helped me carry in and put away food and supplies before getting Dr. Vesper up. He had morning meds with breakfast and read the newspaper. Elena had already fed Hillary and Kemper, I filled the water bowls, emptied the litter box and swept the bathroom floor. I gave Dr. Vesper a sponge bath and helped him get dressed after breakfast. Dr. Vesper had lunch in the afternoon and did his exercise. He watched the entire D-day ceremony, which I had recorded from 4:30a til noon.  It was beautifully done and extremely emotional, he was completely captivated from beginning to end. Dr. Vesper spent the rest of the evening watching TV until bedtime. I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.

 NOTE:  My key wouldn’t come out of the lock this morning and it wouldn’t unlock the door. I went through the garage, and then called a locksmith. He had to break the key in order to get it out. Apparently, it was a maintenance  issue, he took the lock assembly apart and cleaned and oiled everything, it works 100% better than it has in 10 years.

CHORES: Cleaned glass doors, swept front entrance, vacuumed, sanitized kitchen countertops,  touched up bathrooms, made bed, laundry (robe & PJs), picked up garbage can & mail, prepared meals

VISITORS/WORKERS:
None

COMMENTS:I took care of Kemper & Hillary when I arrived and started chores before getting Dr. Vesper up. He ate breakfast and took his morning meds, he got a sponge bath and clean PJs after breakfast. I did laundry and started dinner while he opened his mail, watched TV and napped. After dinner he watched TV.  I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

NOTE: I spent some time on the phone with Eads Fence, after a couple of calls to Cin Bell.  It seems we can’t get a demarcation box since we have fioptics. I did as much as I could and then turned it over to Eads Fence to figure out, we may have to go with the cellular system for the gate since we don’t have a regular phone line.

Eads Fence (Clint) – Check gate and make recommendations

COMMENTS: I made one quick stop at Panera Bread on my way in this morning, I took care of Hillary and Kemper when I arrived. Eads Fence arrived at 10:30, I brought him up-to-date on the history of the non-working gate and he listened to the recording by his predecessor. He checked the gate out thoroughly before coming back to the house. We had a conference call with Jessica and he explained his recommendations. He will prepare an estimate and present it to Jessica within the week. I got Dr. Vesper up, he had breakfast and took his morning meds. I did chores while he relaxed.  Dr. Vesper had a shave and a shower after lunch then relaxed for a bit before exercise.  He watched TV while I prepared dinner. After dinner he relaxed and watched TV. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow.  Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: When I arrived this morning, I found Jennifer busy at work planting flowers we purchased yesterday. Dr. Vesper was up by 10:20, he ate breakfast and took his a.m. meds. After breakfast he relaxed for about 1/2 hour before doing a good PT/OT session. We did little extra today to make up for yesterday. After lunch, I gave Dr. Vesper a shave, shower and helped him get dressed. Jennifer ran an errand and then met with Hank Harrington regarding a fence at the cemetery and a few other projects at the house.  After Hank left, Jennifer got ready and left for Charlotte‘s graduation and dinner.  Dr. Vesper relaxed and napped while I did laundry and finish chores.  After dinner, he watch TV until bedtime. I did dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, set the table for breakfast and morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed. He was all tucked in when Jennifer returned around 10p.

COMMENTS:  Dr. Vesper was up at 10:30a, had morning meds with breakfast. Jennifer called Dr. Pelc and got permission to use her office to remove about (10) spots from Dr. Vespers’s neck and head. After breakfast I gave him a sponge bath and got him dressed and we left for Dr. Pelc’s office. Next stop, Burger Farm for a few more flowers. Jennifer & Dr. Vesper had a 4:30 appointment at Nurre Funeral Home to discuss a monument for Rose. Our last stop was the drive-through at Frischs for dinner. He relaxed and watched TV after dinner. Jennifer spent a few hours cleaning out the garage. I did (2) loads of laundry And set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds before going to bed.
