COMMENTS: I met Lowell and his helper at the house a little before 9a this morning to replace the water heater. I waited for Lowell to leave before getting Dr. Vesper up. He ate breakfast and took his morning meds. After breakfast, I gave him a complete sponge bath and helped him get dressed. He relaxed and watch TV while I got caught up on daily chores. After lunch, we did exercise, then he relaxed, watched TV and napped until time for dinner. He watched TV after dinner, I cleaned up the kitchen and did the dishes. I prepared breakfast items and meds for morning. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: I did the grocery shopping on my way in this morning.  Elena helped me unload and put everything away. I got Dr. Vesper up and to the table for breakfast and morning meds. I helped Elena with the cleaning while Dr. Vesper’s relaxed in his chair. After lunch I gave him a complete sponge bath and helped him get dressed. We did a good round of exercise to make up for yesterday. I set the table and did a few preps for dinner. Mary Lou arrived at 5, and she and I started dinner. She had already prepared the meatloaf and had it ready to go into the oven. Stephanie came from work, the rest of the crew arrived around 7p to celebrate Stephanie’s birthday. We had a delicious dinner, followed by birthday cards and gifts. Everyone helped with cleanup and the last person out the door around 9:30.  I prepared breakfast items and meds for morning. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: I took care of Hillary and Kemper when I arrived. I got Dr. Vesper up, he had breakfast and took his AM meds. As soon as he finished breakfast, I gave him a shave and got him into the shower and helped him get dressed. He had a good appointment with Dr. Schott this afternoon. Everything was as good or better than his last visit a year ago. We cheated and had junk food for lunch on the way home, since it was so late. It was really hot and humid today, Dr. Vespers was happy to be back to the comforts of home, with his favorite chair and TV. While he took a nap, I finished the chores that didn’t get done this morning. I made a fairly light dinner since lunch was so late. After dinner he watched TV while I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow. Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: I took care of Hillary and Kemper when I arrived. I got Dr. Vesper up, he had breakfast and took his AM meds. He got a sponge bath and got dressed after breakfast. We had a good exercise session after lunch. He watched TV & dozed before dinner. After dinner he watched TV while I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow. Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: I got Dr. Vesper up at 10:30a, he had his morning meds with breakfast. I gave him a sponge bath and helped him get dressed after breakfast.  He had lunch in the afternoon, did his exercises and watched TV. I made lunch for the girls, they especially liked the crenshaw melon, they had not had it before.  Since today was Dr. Vesper’s 58th wedding anniversary, I made him a special spaghetti dinner with Rose’s sauce, courtesy of Jennifer. When Jennifer came home for his birthday, she made a large batch of sauce, I had froze the leftovers for later. After dinner, he watched TV, National Geographic had some very good programming tonight, I DVR’d most of it for prosperity. I cleaned up the kitchen, did dishes and prepared breakfast items and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

NOTE: Dr. Vesper had lots of phone calls today, wishing him happy anniversary. Mary and Joan called earlier in the day, and even one of the bridesmaids called. Jennifer, Stephanie and Jessica called in the evening. He asked me if I knew where his wedding album was and asked me to bring it over so he could do a little reminiscing. He remembered the names of all of the groomsmen and his best man, could only name Juanita, but none of the other bridesmaids. He picked out his parents and Rose’s parents, but didn’t recognize any of the guest.

After dinner Dr.Vesper watched TV, while I cleaned up the kitchen and did dishes.  I prepared breakfast and a.m. meds for tomorrow.  He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

I took care of Hillary & Kemper and did chores until Dr. Vesper woke up at 11a. He had breakfast and took his morning meds.  In the afternoon he had lunch, did exercise & watched TV. Stephanie stop by for short visit, after she left I gave him a shave and a shower and helped him get dressed.  After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime.  I did a med inventory and placed an online order for refills with Humana.  I gave him his p.m. meds and he got ready for bed.  I set the table with morning meds and breakfast for tomorrow.
