COMMENTS:
I took care of Hillary & Kemper and did chores until Dr. Vesper woke up at 10:45a. He had breakfast and took his morning meds.  I had put off giving him a shave and shower until late this evening because of the pool party scheduled for tomorrow. A little after 11, I got a text from Stephanie saying the pool party had been moved to today at 3:30. After he finished breakfast, I gave him a quick shave and a shower, and helped him get dressed. He relaxed in his chair while I tidied up the bathrooms and put out fresh and towels. In the afternoon he had a snack, did exercise and watched TV. I had planned to do the grocery shopping tomorrow morning, but a quick trip to IGA for picnic necessities solved the problem.  Andrew made some great burgers and dogs on the grill, and with a few side dishes, we had a nice farewell to Summer dinner. I set the table with morning meds and breakfast for tomorrow. After all the guest left, Andrew and the girls headed home, Stephanie was the last one to leave at 11. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds and I helped him change into his PJs and get ready for bed.

COMMENTS: I did chores before getting Dr. Vesper up at 10:30a.  He ate breakfast and took a.m. meds. After breakfast I gave Dr. Vesper a sponge bath and helped him get dressed. In the afternoon, he had lunch, watched TV, did exercise and took a nap. Mary called while I was making dinner, they talked until he was ready to eat. After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime. I set the table for breakfast and morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

COMMENTS:  I took care of Kemper and Hillary and emptied litter box before getting Dr. Vesper up. He had morning meds with breakfast. He had a sponge bath and dressed after breakfast. In the afternoon, Dr. Vesper had lunch, did his exercise, watched TV and took a nap before dinner.  After dinner, Dr. Vesper relaxed and watched the last Bengals preseason game. I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: I took care of Kemper & Hillary when I arrived and started chores before getting Dr. Vesper up. He ate breakfast and took his morning meds. After breakfast, I gave him a sponge bath and helped him get dressed. After lunch, we did exercise and then he relaxed and watched TV while I finished the laundry and started dinner. After dinner he watched TV.  I set the table for breakfast and prepared morning meds. He took his p.m. meds and I helped him get ready for bed.

COMMENTS: I arrived early to let the heating & air technicians in to work on the geothermal system. I took care of Hillary and Kemper, but let Dr. Vesper sleep until Arronco completed their work.  He had breakfast and took his AM meds. Dr. Vesper had a sponge bath after breakfast and got dressed. He had to have a complete change of clothes twice in the afternoon, even though he made regular trips to the bathroom. He did exercise and had lunch, then watched TV till dinner. Jeannie came in the afternoon and worked a couple of hours. She was going to stay for dinner, but we had a bad storm coming in and she wanted to get home before it hit. After dinner he watched TV while I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I prepared morning meds and breakfast setup for tomorrow. Dr. Vesper took his pm meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: I relieved Stephanie M at 5p, she briefed me on the events of the day before leaving. I made a salad and warned up leftovers around 6, he enjoyed a second day of Mary Lou’s delicious meatloaf. After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime, a very interesting program on ESPN about the history of football, which included college football segregation and the history of the Heisman trophy. PM meds and bedtime routine all ran smoothly.

NOTE: Today was my day off, but I filled in for Susan, who was on vacation.

COMMENTS: I took Dr. Vesper’s Subaru in today to have the back passenger tire checked. It has been going flat the past month+, I have been pumping it up almost weekly. It had a very large nail all the way through and could not be fixed, they had to replace the tire. I relieved Michele at 5p, she briefed me on all the exciting happenings of the day before leaving. I ordered refills on all of Dr. Vesper’s medications last week and they all came in on Friday. I didn’t have time to take care of them on Friday, so I worked on getting them marked into inventory and put away, while I waited for Dr. Vesper to get hungry. I made dinner around 6. After dinner, he watched TV until bedtime. PM meds and bedtime routine all normal.
