NOTE: While getting ready for bed, I noticed Dr. vesper was much weaker than usual. After sitting on the commode for a while, and then standing to brush his teeth, he became very weak, his hands were shaking and he was perspiring heavily. I took him to bed in the wheelchair. I checked his vitals and all was normal, including blood pressure, temperature and blood sugar. His only apparent symptoms were weakness and a little dizziness. I decided to stay with him for a while to make sure he was OK before leaving . He was completely back to normal when I said good night. I remembered Rose doing something very similar after being constipated for a few days and then having an extremely large bowel movement. It seem to completely exhaust her, she was always weak and her pajamas damp from perspiration. I asked him if he had a difficult BM, he said no, not sure his memory was reliable.

COMMENTS: I relieved Stephanie M. at 5p, she briefed me before leaving. The TV, Internet and phones were out when I arrived, Stephanie said they had been out since around 2:30p. Stephanie had already called and was told it was a wide spread outage and wasn’t sure when service would be restored. I made dinner and we tried to entertain each other with conversation about the good old days. After dinner, I discovered the Internet was working, so I started working on the TV. Unfortunately, that was a bit more difficult, after several attempts to reboot, I finally got it up and running. He stayed up a little late to catch up on his TV watching. I did the dishes, clean the kitchen, prepared breakfast items and morning meds. After a little TV he took his p.m. meds and got ready for bed.

NOTE: Stephanie said that Vesper had not gone to the bathroom since he got up this morning, although she had tried several times to get him to go to the bathroom. When he got out of his chair for dinner, he was completely saturated. I had to give him a sponge bath and a complete change of clothes.

NOTE 2: Today was my day off, but I filled in for Susan, who was on vacation.
