COMMENTS:
Rose was a little on the quiet side today, but did well in all other departments, she did a good job on exercise before a short nap in her chair.  Dr. Vesper  is  exhausted from all of his physical labor. He told me he stopped up near the dip this afternoon to pick up a board he had left on the ground and actually fell asleep before he could get out of the truck, fortunately he had put the truck in park.

COMMENTS:
Rose was alert and verbal today, in a happy mood. I took urine sample to Dr. Wilson’s office this morning, they tested while I waited and confirmed she did not have a UTI. Dr. Wilson said the strong odor and highly concentrated color indicated dehydration.

Dinner was later than usual today because Dr. Vesper had a planning commission meeting tonight, which was rescheduled from 2 weeks ago. This one was scheduled for 5:30 instead of 7:00, I’m hoping that is not going to be their norm, since that would be right at dinner hour.

COMMENTS
Rose had a very dark rust colored urine yesterday, looked better today but still orange, I gave her extra fluids, which included cranberry juice. I talked to Dr. Wilson this morning, he asked me to get a urine sample and bring it to his office as soon as possible. It was difficult to get a urine sample because my timing seem to be off all day, she urinated in her depends just before we got to the bathroom, we finally had success at her last toileting just before bedtime. Other than the color of her urine, Rose was fine, showed no signs of discomfort and was in a very pleasant & talkitive mood.

Dr. Vesper stayed home from church today because he said Jacob didn’t work well unsupervised.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a dental appointment with Dr. Cain this afternoon, she and I had to really push it because I was late arriving due to a meeting at the office this morning. She had a good checkup and Dr. Cain was very please with her dental hygiene. The hygienist was not quiet as happy, since Rose talked the entire time they was trying to clean her teeth. Rose was in her funny/silly mood today, clapping her hands and tapping her feet. I don’t think Dr. Cain and her staff have ever witnessed Rose quite so animated. Dr. Vesper went to the farm with Jacob, not sure the purpose of the trip, but wasn’t gone very long.

NOTE:
I noticed a very strong urine odor when I arrived this morning. her urine was very concentrated, almost a rust color. I tried to give her extra water today, but it was difficult because we were out almost all afternoon. I will add extra fluids tomorrow, and if no improvement,  will call  Dr Wilson.
