Rose was awake and ready to get up when I arrived. I got Rose dressed in her old clothes and gave her a quick breakfast before Polly arrived at 11:30 to give Rose a haircut & color. Rose did very well through the entire process, Polly and I have it down to a science now and with the roll-in shower, it works very well. Rose was quiet all day, but did get a little chatty at bedtime. Jennifer made Roses’ recipe of beef and peppers tonight and with the exception of (2) grandchildren and (2) son-in-law’s, the entire family was together for dinner.

Rose was extremely quiet today, but otherwise was okay. She watched a musical special from the White House and really enjoyed the the music, evidenced by her dancing in the recliner. She started to get sleepy immediately after the musical special, so I took her to the bathroom a little early (around 4 PM), she was sound asleep five minutes after getting back into her chair.

Paul Bunyan worked all afternoon pulling trees across the driveway to the gully near the dip, came in with quite the bump on his head, didn’t remember how he got it.

Jessica made dinner while I worked on shampooing the carpet. Stephanie and the girls came up to work on pool maintenance.

Dr. Vesper had a short nap befor going to the Kennedys for Jacob’s graduation party @ 3P. Dr. Vesper was going to have dinner at the party before going to church. Rose had a very long and sound nap and was just getting ready to have leftover chili for dinner when Dr. Vesper came home from church. As it turned out he didn’t eat at the arty because he didn’t know they had food. He didn’t want chili, so he had some leftover baked chicken.
