COMMENTS:
Rose had a good day, she was relaxed and comfortable after her bath and had a nice long nap before dinner. Dr. Vesper had his pretesting for his upcoming physical this morning, they didn’t quite finish all of his pretesting because the fire alarm went off and they had to exit the building. They will do the remaining test the morning of his physical.

CHORES: Sanitized kitchen countertops, prepared dinner & washed dishes

COMMENTS:
I relieved Tiffany at 5 PM because Susan was on vacation. Tiffany reported that Rose had a good day and all went well, except no BM all day. Rose was alert throughout the evening until she started to get sleepy at bedtime.

COMMENTS:
Rose was awake and alert from the start of the day. Bathing and dressing went OK, she was slightly restless during the dressing process, but was fine afterwards. She was in a very happy mood in the afternoon, clapping her hands and tapping her toes. She did her sound effects, her “motor” sound effect was so real I was looking outside for a car until I realized it was her. Dr. Vesper went to the gym after church today, didn’t get home until a little after 3p.

Rose got up very alert this morning, not usually a morning person, but was surprisingly alert all day. She did seem to be uncomfortable just at the end of dinner, I thought she might need to go to the bathroom, that was not the case. She did seem to be ok after our trip to the bathroom, even though it was unproductive.

COMMENTS:
Rose did ok through her morning routine, including shower and dressing. She had a long nap in the afternoon and was well refreshed for dinner.

NOTE:
Kemper had his annual physical with Dr. Miller this afternoon, the big boy now weighs 97.4 pounds and was very healthy, with the exception of his ears, which were badly infected from too much pool water. Dr. Miller’s orders are, #1. Stay out of the pool #2 Apply topical antibiotic once daily in the ear canal and apply to red areas, both ears #3. Oral antibiotic twice daily X’s 10 days #4. Return to Vet in 2 weeks.
