COMMENTS:
Rose was in her funny/happy mood today.  When I asked if I could have a good night kiss she said “no”, I put my cheek down to her lips and she threatened her lips in an anti-pucker and started laughing, after she teased me for a bit, she finally did give me a good night kiss.

Mary Del came out to pick Dr. Vesper up and take him to lunch. After lunch they did some car shopping/browsing she had him back home by two in order for him to leave for his dentist appointment at 3p.

We got a call from the nationwide adjuster tonight around 8:30, he was just finishing with the appraisal.  He estimated repairs to be approximately $9500 and the bluebook value for the Lincoln is approximately $6500, so needless to say nationwide is totaling the car. He said even if you spent the money to repair it, it wouldn’t be safe.   The car was hit very hard and did a lot of structural damage, which  means the vehicle wouldn’t  be safe.

COMMENTS:
Rose was alert, but quiet today, she was more talkative in the evening and especially at bed time. Dr. Vesper had a lazy day, stayed in his PJs til mid afternoon, then went back to the bedroom to say his rosary/nap. He came out of the bedroom a cople of hours later dressed for church, he went up to get the mail and spent the rest of the afternoon going through the mail and reading. Stephanie called from the farmers market to say she would be up later with kids to swim and goodies for dinner. The Gephardts were late arriving, but everyone pitched in, including the kids and me were still able to eat at a reasonable hour. The fresh silver queen corn and green beans were delicious, we added hotdogs and a fun dessert for the kids. Stephanie did most of the cleanup by, while I completed bedtime routine, including PM meds and getting Rose to bed.

COMMENTS:
Rose was a good girl today, not too much complaining about her shower, just her normal rigidity. After Dr. Vesper returned from church and the gym, we all took a ride to the junk yard on Kellogg Ave to retriev some items he left in his car. I took some pics of the car for him and he said goodbye to his red boomer. The lot manager said he was sure the insurance adjuster will total the car, he was pretty sure the frame was bent and some major structural damage going on. I assisted Dr. Vesper in filing his claim with Paul Hall this morning and we are now waiting to hear from the adjuster 24-48 hours.
