The man that had the salt spreader since last October would not answer or return our phone many calls. When we arrived he was walking around while talking on hos cell phone, he said how you doing Doc, got in his car and left us standing in the middle of his shop. We talked to the owner of the repair shop, which turned out to be his father. After we explained the situation he assure us he would repair it and deliver it personally.

Don Marcum Pools – Pool maintenance

COMMENTS:
Mr. and Mrs. Vesper celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary today, in honor of the occasion we celebrated with dinner at the National Exemplar in the Mariemont Inn. Rose had an early afternoon nap to ensure a good evening, she was very alert and certainly seemed to enjoy herself. We had a delicious dinner and a very pleasant evening. I arranged for flowers for the bride and a special dessert, which was served with candles and champagne. They received congratulations and well wishes from nearby couples and the staff.

NOTE:
A very tall but skinny dead tree fell across the driveway during the night. Because the tree was so dead, it broke up into sections when it hit the driveway, I was able to remove a 8′ section in order to clear the driveway. The rest of the tree will have to remain until the ground dries up enough to get the tractor onto the grass.

Rose had a very good day, she was alert and in a very happy mood (except for shower) all day. She did start to doze off when Tiffany arrived at 5p, but we turned on the music and she perked up immediately and started to clap her hands and tap her feet.

Dr. Vesper was in bed when I arrived, I had to wake him @ 11a to get ready for church. He went to the gym after church and then home around 3p. He spent about an hour going through the mail & reading the WSJ, and then went to the bedroom to say his rosary/nap, got up @ 6p. He has been sleeping more as of late, going back to bed in the morning, taking a long nap in the afternoon and going to bed early at night, around 9:30.

Debbie – Clean

COMMENTS:
Debbie took care of Rose this morning and fed her breakfast while I took Kemper to the vet for his follow-up appointment for his ear infection. The ear infection has cleared up but Dr. Miller wants him to have a drying agent applied to his ear canal twice weekly as a maintenance therapy, should also be applied if his head goes under water in the pool. I think Rose enjoyed her time with Debbie, they were laughing and singing when Kemper and I returned. I have had a real problem with the 4:30 toileting, when I take her at 4:30 she does nothing and by 830 she has had a major urine/BM. Tonight I decided I would wait till 5p for the 430 bathroom break, but @ 4p she had already had a BM and urinated so much that not only her pants were soaked, but also her shirt.

Dr. Vesper had been up and had his breakfast, but had gone back to bed before Debbie arrived at 9a. It was almost 11 before he got up the second time. He did a little work outside today, but not very long. He was back in bed by 3 PM and slept a couple of hours.

Don Marcum – Pool care

COMMENTS:
Rose had a very late breakfast today because of her fasting blood draw. Cedric was very late and when he arrived he forgot to bring tubes and had to go back to the office and come back again, it was almost 1 o’clock before she finally got some food. We squeezed lunch in a couple of hours later just trying to get her tummy caught up.

Per istructuring from the nationwide adjuster, Dr. vesper had to go to OKI towing today to get his license plates off the Lincoln. We had 2 other phone calls from Nationwide regarding the accident, with instructions on the next step in the process.
