Deer hunter – Called from the gate, but didn’t come to the house, Dr. Vesper spoke to him on his way out the gate going to church.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a  good day, she was alert,  but somewhat quiet. She had breakfast and her exercise before her shower today, which we did in the afternoon. Rose was  awake when Tiffany arrived, but had started to nod off while Tiffany started dinner.

Dr. Vesper was in bed when I arrived, I had to wake him @ 11a to get ready for church.  A deer hunter called from the gate just as Dr. Vesper was walking out the door to go to church, he spoke to him on his way out. Dr. Vesper was back home at 1:07, I asked him If he was feeling OK and he said. yes, just tired.  He sat down to go through his mail and I took Rose to the bathroom for her shower. When we came out of the shower to the bedroom to get dressed, Dr. Vesper was in bed snoring.  They had not been up long when Tiffany arrived at 5 PM. I redressed his arm before I left and sat out the items needed to do this daily over the weekend.

Debbie – Clean

COMMENTS:
Rose was very quiet today, seemed focused, just not verbal. While Debbie was cleaning, Rose seemed to focus more on what Debbie was doing, but when Debbie tried to engage her in conversation she did not respond.

NOTE:
Dr. Vesper got a nasty wound on his left arm this evening just before dinner, something to do with the bucket on the front loader. It covered a large area from his elbow halfway to his wrist, the skin was ripped off and he had a very nasty bruise. Of course, he didn’t tell me until I happened to see the blood on his shirt, I cleaned it thoroughly, applied antibiotic ointment and covered well with bandage. The wound should be redressed over the weekend, especially if bandage gets dirty.

I drove Rose’s van home last night and dropped it off at Honda this morning for a recall on the fuel pump cover. Honda called in the afternoon to say it was ready, Stephanie will pick it up and return it over the weekend, or first of the week.

Duke energy was there most of the afternoon trying to resolve a wiring problem down below the house, they left at 6 PM without coming inside, so we assume they resolved their issues. We were never without power, but the residents on Greenmonnd were without power most of the day.

I received a text from Charlie Kelch today to let me know the motor for the salt speader is no longer available, but he was able to find somsome to rebuild the old motor and will keep me posted about the progress.

Rose and I got an early start to our day since she had her annual physical with Dr. Wilson @ 3p today. I thought we were going to be early, but when I went to get the van out of the garage, it wouldn’t start. By the time I jumped the battery, we ended up arriving right on time. Roses was in a very cheerful mood, she entertain the office with her whistling. Her labs from August 12 were all within range, her vital signs were 124/70, P-68, heart strong, lungs clear, no medication changes, next visit schedule in 4 months. Dr. Vesper spent the day with Mary Del, they went to the Zoo and had a great afternoon.
