Everyone had a great afternoon, including Rose, she was quiet for the most part, but seem to enjoy all of the busyness of the day.

COMMENTS:
Rose was very quiet, but alert today. Showering went smoothly, however ridgidity was a major issue during undressing & dressing. She was defiantly ready for a nap after lunch.

Dr. Vesper went to church and the gym today, when he came home he announced he had purchased a new car today. This is after telling me yesterday he did not want to sign and return documents to Fisher Investment for a withdrawal from his Roth IRA to purchase a new car because the stock market was down. When I reminded him he didn’t have enough cash to pay for the car he asked me to get his financial advisor on the phone and even though it was past 5 o’clock, fortunately Fisher is in California and we were able to get documents completed and overnighted back to California to arrive Tuesday morning.

COMMENTS:
Rose was very quiet once again today. On her quiet days she has started clutching her mouth shut tightly, I have been putting her sippy cup straw in her mouth, just to interrupt the clenching. However, I don’t think she’s clenching her teeth, just sucking in cheeks.   Dr. Vesper went to the gym after church today. I checked his bandage when he came home, it was clean and didn’t need to be changed.   He went to his room for a nap from 4-6:30, but said he didn’t go to sleep, stayed awake thinking about global warming.

COMMENTS:
Rose was very quiet today, not two words until almost bedtime, and then the light switch went on. Dr. Vesper went outside to water the flowers just before noon, he only did half of his normal watering and then came inside because it was so hot/humid. Later, he did pick up the mail and after some reading and TV watching, he took a long nap in the afternoon. I redresses his arm this afternoon, it still looks awful, but no signs of infection.

NOTE:
The gates was stuck in the open position when I arrive this morning. I called Mills Fence, but Matt was on another job, he Returned my call and walked me through A temporary fix, the inground loops may have to be replaced soon, but for the moment it is working.
