Rose had a late nap in the afternoon, got up just before dinner. Dr. Vesper went back to bed after breakfast, didn’t get up until 1p, picked up & read the mail, was back in bedroom @ 3:30 to “read”, didn’t come out until 5p. I asked if he felt OK and he said yes, just catching up on sleep from his backache the last two nights. Jessica was out most of the afternoon, but was home in time for dinner.

COMMENTS:
Rose was in her sweet & pleasant mood today. She wasn’t very talkative most of the day, but a little better in the evening. Dr. Vesper was still in bed when I arrived this morning, Kemper was still in his cage and the newspaper outside the door. He had been up, but only to give Rose her morning meds. It was a little past 10:30 when he got up. While he ate breakfast and did his morning reading, I got Rose up and ready for her breakfast. Dr. Vesper was back in bed by 12 noon, said his back was hurting still from something he did yesterday. He said he didn’t get much sleep last night because of his back. It was almost 4 PM when he got up and decided he should go to Barry’s to get some IBuprofen. I reminded him he was not to take aspirin, the pharmacist recommended Aleve. He took (1) Aleve and I applied Arnica and a heating pad, later he said his back was feeling better.

Tiffany reported Rose had a problem all day with gas and had a small BM every time she went to the bathroom, with a large one at 12:30

COMMENTS:
Rose was quiet most of the day, but more talkative during & after dinner.  We think Rose tried to say my name this afternoon, she was sitting next to Dr. Vesper by the loveseat, I was feeding  her fruit when she said “thank you Ma…..”, we both thought it sounded like the first syllable of Ma we both thought it sounded like the first syllable of Mossy.   We were both surprised, I don’t think she has ever attempted to call me by name????
