Rose with quiet today, but cooperative, especially during bathing and dressing. She was responsive when spoken to and actively enjoyed her music. Dr. Vesper was up and dressed early, eager to vote, I think it was a social thing, he was gone almost 2 hours. He did some leaf duty in before leaving to meet Stephanie at 2:30 for his appointment with Dr. Maddox.

I did some posting to the google calendar and started dinner while he and Rose napped.

Rose was very quiet today, she did take a short nap in her chair. After her nap, Rose started leaning slightlly right, which continued until bedtime. 5 O’clock mass was changed to 4 PM today because of Halloween trick-or-treating, but Dr. Vesper was not aware of the change, needless to say, mass was over when he arrived. He made a stop at Stephanie’s to see the kids in their costumes, and still made it home about the normal time.

I arrived early today to get Dr. Vesper out the door on time for his appointment with Dr. Forman at 10:30. While he was gone, Rose had breakfast and then we got ready for our lunch with Stephanie & Mary Lou. Dr. Vesper arrived home from his checkup just as we were leaving. We invited him to join us, but since he thought it was a “girls” day out, he declined with the excuse he had a lot of reading to do. We would have been gone, but the van wouldn’t start (again), I had to jump-start it. After lunch, I stopped at Arnold’s marathon and Ryan installed a new battery. Lunch turned out to be a little birthday surprise. Lenny, Jeanine and Helen came, as well as Mary Lou and Stephane. It was such a pleasant surprise, but absolutely not necessary, because even the extended family has always expressed gratitude at every opportunity. Working with Rose and her family has always felt like such a blessng. THANK YOU
