COMMENTS:
We had a nice quiet today, Dr. Vesper read a library book most of the afternoon and watch the Bengals game off and on. Rose was happy to relax & nap in her recliner. I pulled the sheets off the beds, but didn’t wash them, because the water softener somehow got unplugged again and I didn’t want to do any laundry until we have soft water.

Rose had an average quiet day, but got pretty lively in the evening when Jennifer and Jake played a mean piano for her. Jennifer took her crew to skyline chili for their coney fix after Mary Del left. Dr. Vesper went to mass and afterwards met up with Jennifer and her crew at Stephanie’s house for pizza dinner and early Christmas celebration, since Jennifer won’t be home For Christmas.

Today was a pretty normal Friday for Lee and Rose, she had her normal routine with a lap, and he went to church and the gym. The Andrews and the Gephardts went downtown to play at Smale Park. Everyone returned home at the end of the day for leftovers. Andrew, Stephanie and Jennifer had a “grown-ups only” evening in OTR, while the kids stayed home with grandma & grandpa.

It was a busy day with lots of family coming in going. Rose did very well with all of the traffic, she was quiet but observant. We did have some quiet time in the middle the day, while the Andrews & the Gephardts went to Union terminal. I prepared dinner for the children, while Jennifer and Stephanie went to a wine tasting party to get wine for tomorrow’s dinner. After dinner Jake used grandpa’s car to drive himself, Chase & Miguel to meet Andrew and the girls at the theater in Amelia to see a movie.

COMMENTS:
Rose was very quiet today, but seemed focused. Ros & Lee had an appointment for a portrait this afternoon @ 3p, but wasn’t able to make the appointment because Kemper was sick. I rescheduled the appointment for next Thursday, 12/3 and was able to get Kemper in to see the vet at 2:30. Kemper had laryngitis, ear infection, swollen tonsils, strep throat and a major sinus attack, he had so much sinus drainage he was choking on phlegm. I took him to the vet because I thought he had swallowed something that had gotten stuck in his throat. He was coughing, gagging and throwing up phlegm continuously. He got 2 shots and came home with 2 more antibiotics for ears and throat.

Jennifer, Stephanie, Andrew, Lily, Jake and Miguel left early for their 10a college visit @ Miami. Sophie and Charlotte were in school and Chase stayed home with grandma and grandpa. Everyone was home in time for dinner. Fortunately, before the day had gotten too crazy, I had made a large crockpot of taco soup, we added grilled cheese sandwiches and dinner was ready. After dinner, everyone but grandma and grandpa headed for the zoo to see the Christmas lights.
