COMMENTS:
Today was a little mixed up, I had rearranged the bath day, cancelled and rescheduled Polly for next Tuesday, because the office had scheduled training for a new caregiver. When that didn’t happen, I tried to re-reschedule Polly, but she had already made plans. Rose had a good day, she was very rigid doing bathing and dressing, but after that she was in a happy mood. We play Christmas music all day and did a little more decorating.

COMMENTS:
Rose was very quiet today and not in her usual happy mood, but was otherwise OK. She did make a few unusual comments, which I will share; “don’t you dare or I will break your head” (I was trying to remove her pajama top) ” there’s only so much money” and “I’m going there”, she also yelled “be quiet” to Kemper when he barked. We had a busy day verbally, but no smiles.

NOTE:
When I arrived this morning Dr. Vesper asked me who I had coming today. Thinking he was referring to caregivers, I said only me. He said he was referring to a repairman that called from the gate and he buzed the gate open for him. The repairman said he was there to fix A broken wire on the other side, by the old master bedroom. While I was trying to figure out what he was talking about, he said don’t you know anything about this, he assumed I had scheduled it. I question him, but he couldn’t be specific. I was alarmed, especially since I had not called for any type of service. He insisted that someone had called from the gate and he had buzzed to open the gate. I checked the caller ID and found no calls from the gate. I placed a call to Stephanie to discuss the matter with her. Stephanie thought it was possibly hallucination, she asked me to document this in the blog for future date reference. Dr. vesper behaved normally the rest of the day, he read and took a short nap before leaving for church at 4:30.

Rose was quiet today, especially while Susan & Mary were there, more vocal before and after. Rose had a nice long nap after Mary & Susan left. Dr. Vesper spent the afternoon visiting and reading.

Debbie couldn’t clean today because she had been sick with a nasty bug all week and I didn’t want to take any chances with Rose. I was going to do some extra cleaning in the afternoon, but since we had guest, we’ll add that to tomorrow’s list????
