Rose  was miserable during her shower, even though the water was hot and the heater was blasting, she was shivering and her  complaints were very vocal. Dr. Vesper came home from church and rushed in to rescue her, he didn’t go to the gym-still under the weather.  She was her usual nice self after she had warm clothes on.   Roberta relieved me @ 5p

COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper insisted on going to church today, I told him I wasnt concerned about him, but the people around him, he promised to sit alone and not spread his germs. Danny was out most of the day and Jessica slept till early afternoon, she also has the cold bug. Jessica made dinner tonight, she wanted to use one of Rose’s recipes, it was delicious. Rose was in good spirits today, she and I have so far been able to avoid catching any germs from Dr. Vesper, Stephanie or Jessica.

COMMENTS:
We had an unusual day today, but Rose didn’t seem to notice. Dr. Vesper’s cold was worse this morning, when I went in to get Rose up, he said his whizzing had kept him awake all night, he remained in bed until 5p. I called Dr. Wilson, who was home sick, but he called me back right away and said he wanted him to have a breathing treatment at the ER. I continued training Kathy until 4p, and then prepared to take Dr. Vesper to Anderson Mercy when he got up @ 5p. He received blood work, chest X-ray, EKG, megadose of steroids intravenously and (3) breathing treatments. He was diagnosed with asthma exacerbation and released with (3) scripts and (1) OTC cough suppressant. Stephanie was at a basketball game with Sophie, but was able to relieve me later so I could go home to take care of Rose.  Jessica & Danny stayed home with Rose, gave her dinner and took good care of her. They had used the lift and already had her in bed by the time I arrived.

Dr. Vesper started coming down with a cold yesterday evening, I called Dr. Wilson this morning, he prescribed prednisone, which he stared the afternoon. Jessica starting with the same symptoms today. Rose was her usual self, quiet, but more verbal in the evening.

Everyone had a down day today trying to catch up on rest & sleep, watched TV and napped. Rose was in her recliner all afternoon, dozed off and on, she alternated between snoring and whistling. Danny volunteered to make dinner, he made (3) varieties of seasoned baked chicken breast and A large pan of roasted vegetables.
