COMMENTS:
Rose had a nice day, she was more talkative today than she has been in the last few days. Dr. Vesper left for church at 4:30, when he came out after church his car wouldn’t start. I called roadside service, they came out and gave him a jumpstart and got him on his way. Since I wasn’t there I’m not sure what the problem was that drain the battery this time, but I’m guessing it was the same as (2) days ago. He had to wait about an hour, so he didn’t get home until 8p and wasn’t in the mood to take any blame, if it was his fault, he’ll tell me about it tomorrow:(

Ajax Towng Service

COMMENTS:
Day #3 with no 2 PM Xanax and Rose Did fine, she was leaning slight right, but other than that all was well. I called Subaru early this morning and they decided they should have the car towed in, but when the towing service arrived they were able to get it started. Dr. Vesper went to church and ran a couple of errands, but he didn’t go to the gym, still a bit under the weather.

NOTE:
Kemper had to have his 3rd bath in 3 days, don’t think he got into anything new, just think I didn’t get it all yesterday.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a great day, she was alert and cheerful. Dr. Vesper went back to bed after he ate breakfast and when he got up a few hours later he was feeling worse and decided to go back to the pharmacy to get the Advair that he didn’t pick up yesterday because of the insurance issue. He was feeling better in time to attend the planning commission meeting in the village at 6 PM. His car wouldn’t start because he had shut it off without putting it in park. He had to drive the truck because we could not get it into park. I will call Subaru in the morning.

NOTE:
Kemper had to have another bath today. He was barking in the middle of the night (needed to go outside) but when Dr. Vesper couldn’t figure out what he wanted, he locked him in the bathroom, where he had a BM and somehow had it all in his fur. Kemper’s allergies/cold was worse today, I called the vet and picked up an anabiotic, which we started in the afternoon.

COMMENTS:
Today was Rose’s first day without Xanax at 2 PM, I saw no change, she was quiet, but relaxed. Dr. Vesper had an appointment with Dr. Wilson, followup from his visit to the ER last week. He went to church after his appointment and then came home. Dr. Wilson Called in (2) new prescriptions, Cephalexin & Advair. When Dr. Vesper went to the pharmacy to pick up his medication he was informed that his prescription card had expired 12/31/15, he didnt get the Advair because it was $355 and he didn’t understand what was going on with his insurance. I called Stephanie regarding the insurance and she said the new cards would not be arriving until mid January.

NOTE:
Kemper received a polar bath outside today in 35° temperatures because he had apparently rolled in something very unpleasant. Unfortunately, Dr. Vesper had let him inside the house, which meant vacuuming and mopping the entire area and washing his bed. Because it was cold, I used nice warm water and did a very minimal bath and got him inside. He has the same allergy issues the rest of the household has, I didn’t want to make him worse, but the odor was unbearable.

COMMENTS:
Rose did very well today, she was in a relaxed and cheerful mood. She had to get up earlier than normal, but did sleep in the car going and coming.  Once Dr. Shatz determined that Rose was not testable, she worked more on history and medication alterations. Dr. Shatz would like Rose off any medications that make her sleepy, such as antihistamines and Xanax. She may also make a change in the Carbatrol after discussing with Jennifer.

COMMENTS:
Rose was quiet, not a morning person☹️ She was fine after her French toast breakfast, nothing like a little sugar to get your day going. Dr. Vesper got up early, but did go back to bed to do his rosary, didn’t get up until 1p.  He is still on his steroid high and making a long list of spring projects. I think Hank Harrington is going to be my best friend.

NOTE:
I filled in this morning, we don’t have a permanent Sunday morning caregiver, this issue should be resolved when Susan returns at the end of the month.
