COMMENTS:
Rose had a good day, she was alert and cheerful. Since Elena was here to clean today, I used my time pampering Rose, we did a manipedi and a little eyebrow shaping. Dr. Vesper had a major down day, didn’t get out of his PJs, even asked me to pickup the mail, one of the things he usually looks forward to doing.g

Dr. Vesper went to church & the gym today, I kept him busy with a few extra errands (dry cleaners, car wash & Graeters), everything is back to normal, all is well.

Rose did much better last night, she slept till 5:30 AM before waking for the first time. She was not as bad  as she was the night before.  After taking her morning meds and eyedrops at 6, she went back to sleep.   Kemper did better as well,  I remembered that Dr. Vesper always closed the bedroom door at night, which kept Kemper inside the bedroom.  This worked much better, except I did wake up to wet kisses on my face????

COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper arrived home at 1:30, he was a little earlier than we expected, so we had to rush to get beautiful before he walked in the door. Joan gave him a ride home, she stayed a few minutes to tell us about their vacation, and then I had to rush him off because he had a meeting in the village at 2 PM. While he was gone I unpacked and put his things away. Dinner got started a little late because Jeannie had made arrangements for Dr. Vesper to introduce her to the village council at their meeting tonight at 7p. She picked him up at 6:45, and since the introduction was at the beginning of the meeting, they weren’t gone that long. Jeannie loved her introduction, he said that she had been his bookkeeper for several years and he was still solvent, so it might be OK to vote for her for our county treasurer. Jeanne is hopeful his endorsement will help her carry this township. Rose really perked up when her sweetie came home, guess I just can’t fill his shoes:(

Rose slept very well until almost 3:30a, when I woke to her moaning. I got up to check on her, she was a little flush and clammy, but no temperature. After checking her over and not being able to identify her source of pain, I tried moving her to her side and then moving/massaging her arms, legs and back, this seemed to relax her and she went back to sleep. Again, Kemper woke us with his barking, if this keeps up, he may have to go back to his crate. Having the run of the house at night allows him access to looking out doors and windows and seeing critters that move around outside.  Rose had her morning meds and eyedrops at 6 AM.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a slight temperature when she got up this morning (99.3° ), she obviously didn’t feel well, didn’t seem to be cold related, just not at her best.  I gave her a minimal sponge bath and dressed her and fresh pajamas, shortly after breakfast she curled up in her recliner and dozes  most of the afternoon. After dinner and pm meds, she was back in bed and snoring  immediately. Rose was very lethargic today, no symptoms other than a slight temperature in the a.m.

Friday, February 19, 2016

I woke up at 2:30 AM to noisy/busy chatter, which quickly turned to discomfort. I think it was a very vivid nightmare, she was extremely rigid and moaned when touched, but asleep during the entire process. It was almost 4 AM before Rose relaxed into a restful sleep. After such a restless night, I let her sleep until she woke up at 10:30.

Jeannie – Bkkpr

COMMENTS:
Rose had a late breakfast and ate well, before her shower. After her 2p meds, she went into her “zombie” mode and remained in a very somber state until bedtime. When Jeannie arrived, I went to Berry’s to pick up vitamin D3 to add to her mads that Stephanie had prepared the night before. While I was out, I picked up a gourmet dinner from Frisch’s. It took a really long time to get through dinner, because her eyes were closed and her Chin was on her chest. She did manage to eat both pieces of fish on her sandwich, but not the Bon. It was comical to watch her, sometimes I would put a bite in her mouth and it would fall out because she didn’t close her mouth, other times I had to slap her face to get her to chew – don’t worry Jessica, just little baby slaps! NOTE: Jeannie and I were discussing the issue, and she reminded me that Rose did something very similar the last time LJV went to FL for a week, could she be missing her sweetie? Maybe we’ll do some facetime tomorrow????
