COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper had gone back to bed when I arrive this morning. I spent some time doing chores before getting Rose up and ready for her doctor appointments with Dr. Wilson and nurse practitioner Joe Barone @ Dr. Corl’s office. Rose was awake and somewhat alert during bathing and dressing, which made my job a little easier. We saw Dr. Wilson first and by the time we got to Dr. Corl’s office Rose was starting to get sleepy. Dr. Wilson wasn’t worried about the swelling in Rose’s left ankle and knee, thought it was Venus insufficiency, he didn’t think there was an issue with blood clots because her oxygen level was 98. Joe Barone agreed with Dr. Wilson, but decided to schedule an ultrasound just to be sure, which will be done this Thursday. I sent Stephanie a text when we arrived at Dr. Corl’s office, she was running errands and was able to stop by and join us. Dr. WIlson ordered bloodwork and Joe Barone added (1) item to the lab order to check for fluid around the heart. After seeing Joe Barone, we went to the lab next door to Ohio Heart. Note: Dr. Wilson sent us to the lab because Cedric is on sick leave due to an accident. I’m not sure what Dr. Vesper did today while we were gone. He went back to bed after breakfast and was still in bed when we left at 1 PM. Since today was garbage day, I had gathered recycling and kitchen garbage and placed bags outside front entrance, thinking he might take the garbage up when he picked up the mail. I suspect he had just gotten up when we arrived home at 5 PM because the garbage was still there and he was dressed, but no shoes. I asked him if he had fed Kemper and if he had picked up the mail, he answered yes to both, but hadn’t done either.
