COMMENTS:
I arrived @ 9a this morning because Dr. Vesper had a 9:30 appointment with Dr. Forman. As soon as I got him out the door, I got Rose up, gave her breakfast, and then a quick shower & shampoo and we were ready for Polly. While we waited for Polly, I got most of the regular chores finished. Rose always get sleepy after her shower and by the time Polly arrived, she was ready for her nap. Rose was leaning forward considerably, which made for a difficult job for Polly, but with a little help from me, she managed to make Rose beautiful, as always. When Polly was finished I changed Rose into dry clothes and transferred her to her recliner for a nice long nap. While, Rose slept, I did a load of laundry, wet clothes and towels from our “Polly” day. Stephanie met Dr. Vesper @ Dr. Foreman’s office this morning, she said he had an EKG and was sent to the lab to have blood drawn. When he got home he helped me water the newly planted flowers and later I helped him spread some mulch in the front around the new flowers. Stephanie stopped by in the afternoon to drop off a new pump for the pool cover. We had a very busy day, and since I couldn’t talk Rose into making dinner, I made a quick run to Frisch’s. Rose had been very quiet and sleepy most of the day, but between dinner and bedtime she became alert, focused and somewhat communicative.
NOTE:
I picked up compression stockings for Rose at Kunkel Pharmacy this morning, but didn’t use them today because I was afraid they would get wet and didn’t want to chance getting haircolor on them. They should be used every day, put them on in the morning before she gets out of bed and take them off after she’s in bed at night.
