COMMENTS:
Rose had a dental appointment today, which we started getting ready for after breakfast. Her 12:30p toileting was a rather messy one, which almost made us late, but we made it with a few minutes to spare. I had forgotten the electrician was coming this morning, which also delayed our schedule somewhat. Rose did OK at the dentist office, the hygienist said she had a little more soft tartar than usual, which is attributed to our lack of ability to floss well as of late. We made a stop at Kunkel’s for a few items and then picked up a 1/2 baked pizza at Deweys for dinner on our way home. Not sure what Dr. Vesper did, since we were gone all afternoon, he slept until noon and then watched TV after dinner.

COMMENTS:
Rose ate well enough, but took continuous coaxing to keep her awake and chewing.  She had a long nap in the afternoon, and was more alert after that, which made dinner a little easier for both of us.  Dr. Vesper went back to bed after his breakfast and slept until noon. Then in his effort to find something to do, he tried to use the bushhog, but couldn’t get the emergency brake off. After giving up on bushhogging, he decided to mow the grass.  Sandy did some mulching around trees, but spent most of her day working on getting the waterfalls in shape, with lots of weeding, trimming and mulching, it looks great!  Sandy also spent a good amount of time in the afternoon getting Dr. Vesper “unstuck”,  not once but three times, twice in the same spot within 10 minutes.  He didn’t get hurt, so all’s well that ends well.

COMMENTS:
Rose was in a happy mood today, she danced to music,  at one point (lunch) I had to turn the music off because it was too hard to “catch” her mouth.   She had a nice restful nap between 2-4p.  We ran a little late for 4:30 potty break because I was trying to help Dr. Vesper find his misplaced cell phone and wallet. Finally found the missing items lying on a stack of clothes on a shelf inside his closet where he had placed them when he took them out of his slacks and hung them on the hook in the closet.  Dr. Vesper went to church today but skip the gym because she wanted to come home and help Sandy with the mulching.  After I convinced him Sandy didn’t need any help he decided to start bush hogging, me and my big mouth! Fortunately he was not able to move the tractor, Sandy told me the emergency brake was on,  but she didn’t share that information with him.

Filled in for Sandy

Rose had an ok day, she ate well, was awake and somewhat alert until a short nap before  her 4:30 potty break.  Dr. Vesper went back to bed after his breakfast and slept till almost 2 PM. He came out of the bedroom dressed in jeans and ready to start bush hogging, fortunately it started to rain and he was forced into reading and watching TV. When Susan arrived @ 5, Dr. Vesper went into the bedroom and closed the door.

COMMENTS:
Rose did well through the morning and early afternoon. Since today was shower day, I had to put her compression stockings on twice, after her shower I had to put her back in bed to put them on a second time, so I decided that was a good place for her afternoon nap. She was still sleeping when Roberta arrived @ 5p. Dr. Vesper was gone for most of the day, he spent extra time at the gym after church. He took a short nap with Rose when he got home. Lowell didn’t arrive until 5 PM, I stayed to address the (2) plumbing problem issues with him before leaving.
