COMMENTS:
Rose  was very sedate today, lots of  commotion going on around her all day, which didn’t seem to have any negative effect, but no  interaction with anyone.   I think it was the largest group ever, and the worst possible weather conditions for a party, but everyone seemed to have a good time and enjoyed lots of delicious food.

COMMENTS:
Rose got to sleep in a little later than usual this morning because I had to make a stop at Krogers on my way in. Dr. Vesper had been up, but went back to bed to snuggle until I arrived. Rose had a late afternoon nap and up just in time for dinner, she ate well, but slowed down considerably and took a long tome to finish her meal. We had a steady rain all day, which kept everyone indoors. During one brief moment when the rain stopped, Dr. Vesper, Jessica and Tyler took a walk to the gate and back. Stephanie and the girls came up around 7:30 to clean the sunroom, since the party will probably be indoors, due to the rain.

COMMENTS:
Rose did very well with showering and dressing, she ate well, except dinner, only ate about half. She was starting to poop out by the time Jessica arrived around 8 PM.dr. Dr. Vesper came out of the bedroom in dress clothes this morning because he thought Jessica was due anytime, which was good, meant he couldn’t go outside to work. We checked Jessica’s location on find my friend and when he saw that she was not going to make it in for a couple of hours he decided to go to church. Rose got up with a fever blister on her lip this morning, I asked Dr. Vesper to pick up something for her fever blister on his way back from church, which I replied immediately and again at bedtime, hopefully it will be better tomorrow.

COMMENTS:
Rose had an ok day, ate well and was awake all day.  We postponed showering until tomorrow because of the holiday weekend.  Dr.  Vesper went to church, but not the gym.  He decided today was the day to start working on the trees that are down everywhere.  He ran into the gate, which is now stuck open, and almost took out the call box. I think he was frustrated that Sandy wasn’t strong enough to help him accomplish an impossible task. Thanks to his short memory, it was soon forgotten.

COMMENTS:
Rose was much better today, she was hungry and ate eagerly. She didn’t seem sleepy, but fell asleep shortly after getting into her recliner. Dr. Vesper went back to bed After breakfast and slept till noon. He made a trip to Home Depot and then spent the rest of the afternoon watching TV and reading, he did check out his new mower, but showed little interest beyond looking

NOTE:
When I opened the front door this morning, there was a very strong sewer odor in the house. When this happened a few years back, I was told to flush the commode several times to get rid of the sewer gas smell, Didn’t work this time. I called gullet sanitation, and to my dismay, they are booked two weeks out, but they will give us the first cancellation.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a bad day, she was completely out of it, couldn’t keep her awake long enough to eat. I was only able to get a few bites in her at each meal, but she did have her normal fluid intake. Rose had a long afternoon nap, almost 4 hours. Dr. Vesper went to church and then ran (3) errands for me, but didn’t go to the gym. Chuck Vogel made a trip to Cahall’s to researched a riding mower. He returned with booklets, which outlined (4) models for Dr. Vesper to look at. Dr. vesper insisted on me making a phone call to order the (1) he wanted, said he didn’t need to look at the mower. I spent some time on the phone with Cahall’s getting additional information and placing.   As you can see from the above list of workers, I spent a lot of time making and receiving phone calls and scheduling appointments.   If Rose had to have a down day, today was the day for it, it was a very busy day around here. Also, worked on rough draft letter to court, requesting postponement of jury duty, which needs to be submitted by tomorrow.

COMMENTS:
Rose was very quiet today, sat with her head down most of the day.   She didn’t take a nap, but did start to get sleepy right after dinner. Kemper had a 10:30 appointment for a nail trim this morning. Dr. Vesper had to leave at 11 AM for his echo, so I took Kemper to the vet while he got ready. Sandy was outside working and said she would keep an eye on Rose if he had to leave before I got back.  The groomer said his nails didn’t  need to be trimmed, but she noticed his right ear was very red and thought he should see Dr. Miller.   Dr. Miller was at the Williamsburg clinic and wouldn’t be in New Richmond until 3 PM. They offered to keep Kemper so Dr. Miller could check him when he arrived. Kemper had another ear infection, Dr. Miller gave him an anabiotic shot, plus ear drops and an oral anabiotic for the next 10 days, followup appt in 14 days.  Dr. Vesper got home around 1p, stopped @ NR Police Dept for a visit on his way home,  he spent the rest of the day reading and watching TV, no nap.
