COMMENTS:
Rose was wide-awake when I arrived this morning, although not quite as alert as past few days, she still didn’t take a nap.  Her incontinence was minimal today, urinated in commode three out of four times.  Rose ate very well and was in a happy mood today. On the other end of the spectrum,  Dr. Vesper slept until 3 PM. He started to go pick up the mail only to discover his battery was dead  and he had a flat tire. I jumpstarted the car, but was unable to pump up the tire. He drove the truck to church.   I’ll call Sandy tomorrow to see if she can bring Ray’s air compressor over to fix the tire.

NOTE:
Mr. Opossum came around for the last time tonight, he met with his demise – I take the 5th!

COMMENTS:
Rose had a good day, at least after her shower. She usually takes a nap after her shower, but not today,  I think we might have an imposter.  I’m hoping she will save some of these good days for Jennifers visit at Thanksgiving. Dr. Vesper ate breakfast and went back to bed.   He got up and left at 11:30 for church and the gym. He spent the rest of the afternoon reading and watching TV.

COMMENTS:
Rose had another good day, alert and responsive, no nap and still going strong at bedtime.  Dr. Vesper was in bed when I arrived, Elena helped put the groceries away so I could get Rose up. At 11 AM the phone rang, which was the neighbor calling from the gate  to pick Dr. Vesper up. He had made a lunch date yesterday, but Dr. Vesper had failed to tell me and he had forgotten.  Mr. skeen waited while I got Dr. Vesper up and ready. They went to Loveland to have lunch with Dave Kennedy. Dr. Vesper had an appointment with Dr. Forman @ 2pm, Mr. Skeen assured me they would be back by 1:30, which they were. Dr. Vesper got a little turned around on Beechmont, but made it on time. Stephanie met him there, said he had a good checkup and doesn’t have to go back until next November unless he has a problem.

Rose was awake and alert all day, we kept Fox News on, so she could get her political fix. He also spent a lot of time on the phone discussing politics with Mary Del.

COMMENTS:
Rose was wild awake today and appeared to be paying attention to the TV.   Once a politician, always a politician, I’m thinking I should record some of the political jargon for future use. She ate very well today and pretty much at normal speed.  Dr. Vesper did go back to bed after breakfast, but was up by noon, I think he was eager to vote.  He dropped off the garbage cans, picked up the mail and went to the village to vote. He spent most of the afternoon going through the mail, reading and then following the returns on TV.

COMMENTS:
Rose had her Friday shower today, since I will be off for eye surgery tomorrow. She did well today, except maybe a little sleepier than usual, slept very soundly in the afternoon. Rose completed all of her meals, but slowly, she did seem to enjoy the stew.  Dr. Vesper was also a sleepyhead, went back to bed after breakfast and slept until almost 1p. I did overhear him telling Sandy yesterday that he was very bored.   He told her maybe he should learn to mow grass and she said don’t do that you’ll take my job, we both told him it was above his skill level.  I was able to get him out of the house for a good part of the afternoon. The library was having a used book sale and I thought he might enjoy browsing, he came home with an armful of books.
