COMMENTS:
Rose was relaxed today, she had a short afternoon nap and ate well, but very slowly. Dr. Vesper slept in, but was up by noon. He picked up the mail and spent a couple of hours going through a large stack of mail and reading the WSJ, spent the rest of the day watching TV.
NOTE:
Crystal (new weekend caregiver) came in to train for the evening shift. She did very well, Rose gave her a proper initiation with a very long and difficult toileting. Unfortunately, Home Instead assumed she would get out on time, and had scheduled her with another client after leaving Rose. I could have completed the toileting and released her to leave at 9p, but I felt it was important for her to know the rest of the bedtime routine, as well as to let her know things do not always run smoothly. We called the office to let them know she would be late. Fortunately, the caregiver she was relieving was able to stay until Crystal could get there.
