COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper was just getting up when I arrived, while he ate breakfast, I got Rose up and dressed. Rose had an average day, she ate well, took a long afternoon nap. While she slept, I worked n the February calendar. Dr. Vesper went to church and the gym, spent the rest is f the day reading and watching TV. Rose ate all of her dinner, but Dr. Vesper only ate about 1/2 of his Salmon, said he didn’t want to get fat,  he’s been a little obsessed with weight loss since returning from Florida.

COMMENTS:
Rose was quiet and relaxed today, I took full advantage and gave her a mani-pedi and did her eyebrows. I’m not sure we were still friends at the end of the day, but it’s all behind us now, and I’m hoping she won’t remember the  torture by tomorrow.  Dr. Vesper left for mass at 11a and was home a little before 1p. He got bored with TV and decide to take a nap around 4p, but was up in time for dinner and the Super Bowl.  Bedtime routine went smoothly and much easier than last night, without the leaning.  After getting Rose in bed I clocked out and was getting ready to leave when the game took a turn and got interesting, I stayed and watch the rest of the game with Dr. Vesper, what a finish🏈

COMMENTS:
Rose wasn’t well focused today, her napping was more like just closing her eyes, but not really sleeping. Rose ate well and her fluid intake was normal. Keeping her upright on the commode was difficult at bedtime because she was leaning severely to the left. She seemed exhausted and was happy to be in bed. Dr. Vesper got up for the first time at 10:30, ate breakfast and went back to bed after reading the newspaper. It was about 3:30 when he got up the second time. After going through the mail and reading the WSJ, he watch TV until dinner. Evening routine ran smoothly, dinner, clean up, meds and off to bed.

Cedric – Blood draw

COMMENTS:
Rose had her shower early today because Cedric was scheduled to arrive at 11:30 for a fasting blood draw.  It was almost noon before she had her first meal, breakfast & lunch were both light because they were so close together.  Rose slept a lot today, not soundly, just a very light sleep.   In the middle of trying to get Rose ready before Cedric arrived, I went to the garage to pull the car out for Dr. Vesper, the battery was dead again, he left the map light on overnight.  I gave him a jumpstart and got him on his way to church. After church he spent extra time at the gym and was home @ 3p. He went through the mail and watched TV with Rose while I spent a couple of hours on the phone with Humana, yes again! They have promised to resolve latest issue by tomorrow. The rest of the evening ran smoothly,  dinner, pm meds and everyone tucked in bed.

COMMENTS:
Dr. Vesper was just finishing breakfast when I arrived, and was ready to go back to bed for a short snooze. I gave Rose her a.m. meds, we did our morning routine and was ready for breakfast by 10:30. Rose had a wonderful day, she woke up in a loving mood and was very sweet all day, giving kisses freely.  Dr. Vesper went to church and the gym, then spent the rest of the afternoon reading the mail, WSJ and almost 1/2 of a book from the library.
