COMMENTS:
Rose relaxed after breakfast while I did chores, then we did a good round of exercise. I waited for Dr. Vesper to get up before getting Rose into the bathroom for her shower.  He had a better day today, only went out to pick up the mail, no complicated schedules to deal with.  They had a relaxing afternoon, reading and watching TV.  Dinner and bedtime routine all normal.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a pretty average day, a short nap after breakfast and a longer nap after lunch. I started the fireplace and turned on music, she got warm and cozy and was snoring in no time. Dr. Vesper had another bad day,  I will try to be brief, but really feel I need to document.  I made a written list of  errands on a large sheet of paper with a red marker.  #1 – IHM, #2 – Hallmark for Grandson’s First Birthday, #3 – 2:00 dental appt (Fehl Ln -next to old office), #4 – Gym, #5 – NR Library return book & pay fine.  I went over the list with him and we discussed each item, then I taped the list to his dash.  He went to the gym right after church, as he normally does. I tried calling him several times, but no answer.  I was just getting ready to call the dentist office and let them know he was not going to make it, when they called me at 2:15. We rescheduled his appointment for next week. When I checked  at 2:30 he was still at the gym. Later the dentist office called to say he had just arrived there and they were going to try to work him in  rather than chance him showing up next week.  The receptionist also said Dr. Vesper admitted to her that he gotten lost and couldn’t remember where they were located. She also said he asked her where the nearest library was so he could drop off a book, I told her to tell him he needed to bring it back to New Richmond, not Hamilton County Library.  He had to have two fillings, so it took longer than expected, the receptionist was nice enough to call me because she thought I might be concerned.  At the end of his appointment he called me to see what else he was supposed to do. I asked if he had been to Hallmark to get Tyler’s birthday card and he said no, I reminded him it should say grandson’s first birthday, he came home with a very pink generic card. It was almost 6 o’clock when he got home, I asked him if he got everything on his list taken care of and he said yes.  I mentioned the dentist, and asked if he made it there on time and he said yes right on time.  I’m very concerned about his Covington Latin reunion this weekend,  I think I will call Ron Mann tomorrow and try to work something out for transportation.

COMMENTS:
I got Rose up, dressed and ready for breakfast. Dr. Vesper ate breakfast and laid back down for a few minutes, but was up and ready to leave for church at 11.  He returned home around 1p, he and Rose spent the afternoon watching TV.   When I took some trash to the garage I heard a whistle noise coming from his car, meaning he had turn the car off while in park. The headlights, interior lights and radio all on and running off the battery.   By the time I came back over to get the keys and get back to the garage, everything had shut down because the battery had died. I tried jumping it with the battery charger, but it wasn’t fully charged and didn’t have enough power to jump his battery.  (It gets worse)  He had regular jumper cables in his trunk, which I couldn’t get open because the battery was dead, later I found out there is a way to get into the trunk when the battery is dead. I waited a couple of hours for the battery charger to charge, but it still wasn’t strong enough to start his car.  In the meantime, I called Andrew for help, he suggested a couple of things, but nothing worked.  I finally got the battery charged, but still had difficulty getting it started until I was finally able to get the steering wheel locked.  He was pretty down on himself, but I tried to make light of the situation and told him I appreciated the opportunity to fine-tune my mechanical skills.  Needless to say, Rose didn’t get her manicure finished this afternoon,  she did have a nice nap while I played mechanic. Dinner ran late, but not a big deal.  Thank goodness, the rest of the evening ran smoothly.

COMMENTS:
Rose was on the sleepy side today, snoozed a lot. She took a short nap after breakfast, why I did a few chores and got dinner ready for the oven.  Dr. Vesper was up (2nd time) by noon.  He drove up to pick up the mail and then spent a few hours going through the mail and reading new magazines and the WSJ.  Once the TV was on, Rose was out like a light.  Since her nails are getting a little long, I thought it might be a good time for a manicure, only completed one hand, hard to hit a moving target.   A nice hearty dinner, they both ate well. They watch TV while I cleaned and prepped for bedtime.

Rose had breakfast and then relaxed while I did a few chores. She endured showering and dressing very well today and was rewarded with a nice nap afterwards.   She woke up from her nap in a very pleasant mood. Dr. Vesper was in bed when I arrived, he had been up and ate breakfast.  I got him up in time to leave for church at 11:30, he went to the gym afterwards and was home by 3p.  They enjoyed a delicious salmon dinner for their first Friday of Lent.  After dinner they watched a beautiful ballet on PBS while I cleaned up the kitchen and prepared for bedtime routine.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a good day, she was happy, whistling and tapping her feet.  She was exceptionally friendly with Elena, like political friendly, I asked her if she was campaigning! Rose ate very well today, no nap again, but seemed well rested throughout the day. Dr. Vesper didn’t get the first time until 10:30 AM, but still went back to bed for about 1-1/2 hrs.  He picked up the mail, read and watch TV for the rest of the afternoon. Dinner, meds and bedtime prep all routine.

COMMENTS:
We had pretty severe weather roll through this morning around 7am. A tornado touched down in Amelia & Anderson Township, did lots of damage, but no loss of lives. A large tree across the road on 10 Mile forced me to reroute to 9 Mile. Watkins Hill had several large branches on the road, but  easily removed. Unfortunately, a much larger tree inside the gate, about halfway to the house was across the driveway. The tree had fallen from the woods, so we only got the smaller top half across the driveway, which was only about 8–10″ in diameter. Fortunately, it broke in a few smaller pieces when it hit the driveway, which brought it down to a size I could handle. The rest of the day was uneventful, except it was still very windy.  After clearing the driveway, I got Rose up, bathed, dressed and ready for breakfast. Dr. Vesper had been up, had breakfast and was back in bed when I arrived.  I did get him on his way a little early, just in case he had to reroute due to high water, which was pretty much everywhere.  He was a little later than usual getting home from the gym, but said he didn’t run in to any travel issues.  Rose had an average day, quiet and relaxed most of the day. As always, she was more chatty in the evening.  No afternoon nap, but was definitely showing signs of fatigue by bedtime.
