Dr. Vesper went back to bed after breakfast! didn’t get up un almost 3p. He spent the rest of the afternoon reading and watching TV.  Dinner, meds and bedtime routine normal.

NOTE:
Hillary finally got to come home today, after her shy bladder incident. She still has highly concentrated urine, so another round of antibiotics. Also, a change of food, she is now on a special urinary diet. If that doesn’t fix the problem, Dr. Miller will put her on can food, just to get more fluids in her.  He also suggested bottled water to get her to drink more. Stephanie suggested a special circulating water dispenser, which has worked well with their cat.  I will pick one over the weekend at Petsmart, stray cats can be expensive:)

COMMENTS:
I had to get Rose up earlier than normal this morning in order to get her bathed and dressed in time for the family Easter brunch.  Rose ate well, but started nodding off as soon as she finished eating.   She had a very good nap, with loud snoring. I purposely didn’t prepare breakfast for Dr. Vesper last night and explained he would be having brunch when he got home from 9:30 mass. When I arrived at 8:30 this morning he was eating breakfast, which he had prepared himself, said he wondered why it was on the table. Oh well, he ate again, but only a lite dinner.   Andrew and the girls loaded the dishwasher, while the ladies put away food.  Everyone had a nice afternoon with family and delicious food, as always.  We all missed Charlotte, who was in Florida with friends.

VISITORS/WORKERS:
Sandy – Mowed lawn

Jeannie – Taxes😖

COMMENTS:
Rose had breakfast and then relaxed while I did the dishes and a few quick chores. I gave Rose a shower and got her ready for Polly. Dr. Vesper was in bed when I arrived, he had been up and ate breakfast. I got him up in time to leave for church at 11:30. After church he took his car to Subaru for an oil change, then went to the gym. He didn’t make it home until almost 4, just in time to visit with Polly a few minutes before she left. Rose was extremely lethargic today. She didn’t really take a legitimate nap, but sat most of the day with her eyes closed and her mouth open, when we talked to her she opened her eyes and looked at us, as if to acknowledge, but immediately re-closed her eyes. Rose was also leaning to her left, which was more noticeable because it was necessary to have the back of the chair down for most of the afternoon. Polly had a very difficult job, but somehow managed to make her beautiful, as always. Jeannie called earlier to say she would be stopping by for autographs on tax returns. We had a very busy day and opted for dinner from Frisch’s, Jeannie joined us for dinner after the unpleasant task of taxes. Rose managed to eat all of her dinner, even though she did it with her eyes closed.
