COMMENTS:
Rose was very sleepy today, after getting her up and dressed, she fell asleep while I was making breakfast, she was in such a deep sleep it was difficult to wake her. She went back to sleep after breakfast and slept soundly most of the afternoon. She did finally wake up and became alert around 4p. Dr. Vesper didn’t get up the first time until 10:15, then went back to bed after breakfast, didn’t get back up until almost 3p. He spent the afternoon going through the mail, reading and watching TV. The WSJ didn’t come today, so he was short of reading material. Jeannie was here most of the afternoon, she spent most of her time cleaning out & storing old files. Dr. Vesper opted out of going to mass this evening, so dinner was earlier than a normal Saturday. Dinner, cleanup, pm meds and bedtime routine all normal.

Dr. Vesper was in bed when I arrived, he had been up and ate breakfast. I got him up in time to leave for church at 11:30. He was home from the gym around 3:15. He spent the rest of the afternoon going through the mail, reading the WSJ and watching TV with Rose. After dinner they watched TV while I cleaned up the kitchen and prepared for bedtime routine.

NOTE:
Elana came in today, but didn’t do her normal (5) hours. She saw her doctor yesterday and is scheduled to start PT next week. It was good to have her back, however limited.

COMMENTS:
Rose had a good day, she ate well and had a good nap after lunch & 2p meds, which gave me uninterrupted time to spend with Mona. Dr. Vesper was still in bed when I arrived, I woke him up while getting Rose up at 10:30. He finished breakfast while I was getting Rose bathed and dressed. After breakfast he went down to the village to say goodbye to Police Chief Harvey, who was retiring today. He picked the mail up on his way back home and after going through the mail and reading the WSJ, he and Rose watched TV while I spent time with Mona. Stephanie and Charlotte came by for a visit and charlotte gave Kemper some much-needed exercise of ball chasing down the hill and back. Dinner, clean up, p.m. meds, and bedtime routine all normal.

NOTE:
Ramona (Mona) Masse was in today for a refresher training session, she did very well, remembered routine extremely well, even small details. Mona provided care for Rose for a short time in Oct/Nov ’16, prior to a fall resulting in broken bones, which prohibited her from working.

COMMENTS:
Rose was completely back to normal today, no signs of any problems that might have caused her vomiting last night. She ate well and took her normal afternoon nap. She did become very mellow just before bedtime, not fatigued, just mellow. Dr. Vesper had a 1p appointment with Dr. Wilson for his annual physical today. He was finishing his breakfast when I arrived at 10. He went back to bed for a short snuggling session, which was cut short when Dr. Wilson’s office called to move his appointment up to 12:30. I got him up in time to shower, dress and leave by noon. Stephanie met him there, she called later to say he had one medication change, his labs looked good, except glucose was a little high. He has ordered me to go back to Graters low glycemic ice cream again, said he didn’t like it before, but is willing to try again in order to get his blood sugar levels where they should be. Dr. Wilson’s office will mail physical summary. After dinner, they watched TV while I cleaned up the kitchen, did dishes, set out breakfast items and am meds for tomorrow. PM meds and bedtime routine all normal.

NOTE:
Thanks Susan for taking the time to rinse the clothing, blankets, etc. last night. I know you didn’t have time to do laundry, but just getting the vomit rinsed off prevented staining and it all come out of the wash today like new. I know you have to get up early for your day job, so I appreciate the extra effort of staying to take care of the problem. As always, great team effort:)

Dr. Vesper went back to bed after breakfast, but was up in time for church & the gym. After going through the mail and reading the WSJ, he watched TV, then took a short nap before dinner.  Thanks to Stephanie’s leftovers, dinner was a snap.  after dinner, they watched TV while I cleaned up the kitchen, did the dishes and bedtime prep.
