COMMENTS:  I let Dr. Vesper sleep in this morning, he got up around noon, took his morning meds with breakfast. I finished a few chores while he ate breakfast. He had a shower late in the day yesterday, so we just did a complete sponge bath and got him dressed. I finished gift wrapping, give him a light lunch and he relaxed and watched TV until guess started arriving.  We had a delicious Christmas dinner with family and friends. After dinner and clean up everyone gathered in the family room to open gifts.  It was a fairly early evening, everyone left around 9. Jessica, Danny & Tyler headed off to bed. I gave Dr. Vesper his pm meds and prepared for bed.

COMMENTS: I stopped at Kroger‘s on my way in this morning. Teasdale Fenton arrived just ahead of me and started in the bedroom where Jessica is sleeping. After getting food and supplies stored away, I got Dr. Vesper up and into the bathroom. They cleaned the family room area rug while I cleared the way for Dr. Vesper‘s bedroom to be shampooed. I laid down beach towels for Dr. Vesper to walk on in order to use his chair. After Teasdale Fenton left, Dr. Vesper did his daily exercise, napped and watch TV. I washed the sheets and put them back on the bed. Jessica dropped Tyler off at the Gephardt’s so she could do some shopping for Santa.  After dinner he watched TV until bedtime. COMMENTS:  Elena took care of Kemper and Hillary this morning, he had only eaten a small portion of his food when I arrived at 10:30, but he did eventually finish the full 2 cups. I got Dr. Vesper up, he had morning meds with breakfast. He had a sponge bath and dressed after breakfast. In the afternoon, Dr. Vesper relaxed, did exercised, watched TV and napped while I finished a few extra chores. Elena was here a little extra time today cleaning the other side of the house. When she finished cleaning, we exchange gifts with her before she left. Dr. Vesper watched TV after dinner, while I did the dishes and set the table for morning breakfast and a.m. meds. Dr. Vesper took his p.m. meds and prepared for bed.

NOTE: We had a medium-size tree down across the drive on the lane going through the gate to the school. I called Jeannie’s husband, Tim, he cut the tree in half and pushed it over the hill. He had already planned on coming down today to finish getting the snow plow and salt spreader working properly. Tim also did me a big favor and loaded Dr. Vespers old me lift chair into the handicap van and took it to the basement. I needed to get it out of the middle of the floor, so I put it in the basement until after Christmas, when I will have time to find a good home for it.
