Saturday September 23 10-5pm

When I arrived, Andrew was here and filled me in on things in the house. After Andrew left dr. Vesper was calling for Mossy so I went in and helped him out of bed. He used the walker to get to the restroom but was having a hard time the last few steps so on the way out of the restroom I asked him if he wanted a wheelchair and he said no but then after another step said you can get the chair. Cleaned him up changed his pajamas and his brief took him in for breakfast I took his blood sugar which was 127 he didn’t get any regular insulin but he did get the 20 units of the other insulin.

I went and gave Rose her morning medicine got her up and took her into the restroom. There was stool on her pad and her brief was wet but not soaked through.

As I was taking Rose into the kitchen to prepare breakfast she said “eat” so I fixed her an English muffin and bacon for breakfast with orange juice and Miralax. Gave her morning meds. Around 12:30 doctor Vesper went to the restroom he was able to clean himself after using the restroom but I had to help him pulling up his briefs and his pajama bottoms he once again use the wheelchair.

Around 4 doctor Vesper went to the restroom once again in the wheelchair and afterwards I took Rose to the restroom Rose it had a bm in and her briefs I cleaned her up and both Rose and Dr Vesper are sitting quietly at this time.

Saturday September 9, 8am-5pm

When I arrived daughter Stephanie was there checking doctor Vespers glucose. Apparently he had some problems yesterday and his glucose was up around 500. Doctor Vesper was given 10 units of insulin this morning Stephanie returned around lunch and again checked his glucose levels which were up to 418 and he received 15 units of insulin.

I proceeded to give Rose her morning pill and eye drops, clean the cat’s litter box and got Rose ready for the morning. Her pad was wet but not soaked through to her pajamas. I got her dressed but she was very rigid so I left her pajama top on her.

I gave Rose her morning pills and then got her breakfast together. For breakfast she had toasted English muffin with butter and 2 slices of bacon, orange juice with Miralax.

Doctor Vesper stayed up all day, watching the news on hurricane Irma and Rose sat beside him quietly. At 12 I took her for her for morning restroom break because she seemed stressed. I thought maybe she had to have a bowel movement.  But she was completely dry.

2 p.m. I gave her afternoon medication and for lunch she had cottage cheese with pineapple. And then watched the birds outside of the window for a little bit while she napped. Afternoon restroom break at 4:10. Again pad was dry and clean however while sitting on the toilet she did have gas and passed two very small bm’s. I wiped her up and took her back to Doctor Vesper.

Saturday August 26, 2016 / 10am-5pm

When I arrived Dr Vesper had just woke up, I brought his coffee, gave Ruth her medicine and eye drops and prepared the bathroom for her morning routine.

I put on Roses support stockings and got her out of bed took her into the bathroom for her morning routine she was wet but not soaked through. I cleaned her up, but on Fresh clothes and brought her out to the kitchen to sit with dr. Vesper while I prepared her breakfast.

For breakfast Rose had an english muffin with butter and 3 slices of bacon, orange juice with miralax. Dr. Vesper excused himself from the table and went to lay down. I followed him into the bedroom and gave him is morning eye drops and medicine. Dr. Vesper remained in bed until 5pm when Susan arrived.

When I was getting Rose’s lunch about 2pm, I noticed liquid on the floor under her chair. I worried that I had not pulled her brief’s up correctly and took her into the restroom. Her pants and brief were damp, but not soaked, the geri chair seat was dry. I changed her brief, and put her pj bottoms back on her because Dr. Vesper was resting and I did not want to wake him in order to get her fresh pants. She produced a large BM while on the toilet. I cleaned her up and we returned to the living room.

I gave Rose her afternoon meds with her lunch. She had cottage cheese with fresh pineapple for lunch. Rose rested in her chair looking at the birds, occasionally tapping her foot.

At her 4:30 restroom break, she produced a small bm and urinated.
